Re: NBA 2012-2013 Thread
I'm not in the mood Dave.
If it was an obvious difference of jumpers falling versus them not falling, you think I'm that stupid to not recognize that?
Lebron and wade are attacking the rim 150% more than they were the last game and being more aggressive.
Are you honestly saying they are being as aggressive at going inside and in the paint as they were in the last game?

Re: NBA 2012-2013 Thread
fun fact: chris bosh has a better jump shot percentage than Lebron.
fucking facts, get outta the way of a Dave rant!
btw, not as bad as Wade tho.. guy shoots .383 jump shots. fucking wade man, youre a slasher, dont you know 38/100 isnt good?

Just a quick glimpse at the 2 shot charts... Lebron/Wade both had 5 shots in the paint last game... both have 8 or so this game already. No argument either way from me, as I didn't see more than half of either game. That's just what is on the shot chart.

Re: NBA 2012-2013 Thread
No one said playing harder.
There is a Difference between saying they are playing harder, which I didn't but your weak comeback suggested, and being more aggressive in their shot selection.
Ill concede to you mr nba.
I'll subscribe to twitter and all the experts of stats and one day I will see the game through the boring eyes of David Riccio and understand your ways.
Can't wait!

stats are a tricky thing. theyre good for an overall view, but the finals is too little a size to even gauge a sample. Allens shooting like .714 or something retarded. But at the same time, the notion that people cant play harder in more critical situations is naive.. When they cry after losing, thats not the robot losing fuel, its their emotions which clearly were out there.

Re: NBA 2012-2013 Thread
Wade has been "playing this hard" all series, stop it
Re: NBA 2012-2013 Thread
there is nothing to concede. you get so bitter and think i'm trying to prove you wrong or some shit. it has nothing to do with that.
my point is that neither of us are smart enough to try to analyze every possession of every game and say 'they're being aggressive!' 'they are playing with urgency' 'they want it more'. besides it just being ridiculous... you really think Lebron doesn't have 'urgency' in the NBA Finals or know he needs to take it to the hoop, but we do?
if you think you can see that stuff, go for it... enjoy it. I know i'm not that smart to know that stuff. I know that over the entire course of the season, this is who the Heat have always been... they are the best team in the league. I know that they are playing a really good team that can beat them even when Miami plays well. I know DWade is one of the best players in NBA history coming off one of his better seasons of his career, I know Lebron is a great jump shooter now who had been playing really bad.
all I'm saying is trying to analyze every second is really hard and unexplainable most of the time so its probably the reason you say 'they are so frustrating' and shel says how 'confusing' they are when in reality they've been the best team in the NBA for 3 years.

Re: NBA 2012-2013 Thread
I'm honestly not even trying to debate with you as I can't stand to do it but you honestly believe they aren't attacking the rim more and going to the paint a lot more and being more aggressive in doing so this game over the last?
A simple yes or no is all I need.

Re: NBA 2012-2013 Thread
more than last game? probably. i'd guess that has a little to do with them hitting jumpers and San Antonio being forced to contest a little more.Cnasty wrote:I'm honestly not even trying to debate with you as I can't stand to do it but you honestly believe they aren't attacking the rim more and going to the paint a lot more and being more aggressive in doing so this game over the last?

more than what they normally have done over the past 200 or so games they've played together? no not at all.

If it makes you feel better Corey Stan Van Gundy, who is an advanced metric kind of guy actually, said he was shocked with how little energy the Heat played with in game 3.

A tad off. I didn't account for wade going off.Cnasty wrote: I am guaranteeing a win tonight by 7-9 points for Miami. Spurs take the next and then Ill withhold my prediction until the teams take their talents back to South Beach
I hope I'm wrong on the second part of my prediction

Re: NBA 2012-2013 Thread
I'm holding my ground on Spurs in 6. After the blowout, I thought they'd win tonight. But wasn't totally sure on game 4/5. I still see it 3-2 going back to Miami, with SA stunning them in game 6, giving them their first back to back losses since Jan.
Been a really fun series so far and looking forward to 2 more games.
