I've noticed that September is usually the quietest month each season as most things are all but wrapped up usually and the ones who are out of it have nothing to look forward to until rollover. It also hurts when guys think they know who is going to win it already but that is never actually the case. Boston lost half the time and all his teams were better than the one I have right now.

Most of us know that Richmond will not win it all this year. Injuries are going to happen

Beef go 4-2 and still lose a game in the chase. And we lost CF Claudio Marquis who was having a stellar year when he wasn't hurt. 5.5 WAR in 88 games.

6-1 sim and back in the playoffs (for now)

I hope Washington, Moose Jaw and Philadelphia all rest their guys over the next couple of sims. I could use some playoff revenue.

Maybe if I didn't go 0-6 last sim with five 1-run losses. But no. Starting my regulars in hopes of getting that 100 win mark

The overachieving season and little playoff run comes to an end with this sim.

We made some money this season, so it's worked out with the little we had to work with.

We put a Saints style bounty on who could end his season in our weekend series a couple of weeks ago.

My pitchers failed me as in the 3 game set Cuevas went 0 for 11...with no broken bones.

I decided to check and see what he was looking for regarding a deal again last sim. He had been seeking $25 mil per year for 5 years. Last sim it was suddenly $14 mil per year for 5 years, and he took 3 at that rate.

Felt like a reasonable deal (with a team option for the third year), unless he knows something I don't and he's preparing to become a rotting corpse immediately after this season.

That always scares me too. If it seems too good to be true... Hopefully it works out
