working on putting together a domain name which we can throw up in the lobby or put out places to get more guys to the farm to have more candidates to weed through and find more good ballers who dont know about league play

need someting that differentiates an "online league" (12 man EA hosted) from ours, a 120 person full league

throw some out if u got any

I personally think it's too long and not "memorable enough". Maybe just get rid of the "real" part and go with http://www.120teamonlineleague".

Better yet why not just go http://www.120teamleague.com and explain the online part in your post in the various forums.

You could try and go generic, make a basic webpage (or even just use a blog format) and have it be some shit like ps3leagues.com or something like that. Select some people to write some articles/blogs to generate traffic and throw up adsense to help offset the suubscription to LeagueDaddy and forum.

Just link them to our hall of fame and let their minds be blown.

i do like 120teamleague but i dont want anyone to mistake it for 12teamleague which is the max number fo teams in online dynasty mode

i just want to come up with a link thats easy, gets a little interest enough for them to go there and be directed here

its all wallpaper to us but i think if we ask niddler or someone wjhats it like coming in brand new...we have a shitload of bells and whistles that will attarck people very quickly

what if a couple of other teams jump to d-1?

yea I know alot of the new guys get intimidated w/ there being so much. There is so much you can do and look at it is an almost where do I start situation. That is how Lyle(L-Stee) was before his ps3 shit the bed.

Too bad someone couldn't make like a commercial of sorts to attract some new guys. Some of our very own in here make some very good custom montages of their gameplay and they are pretty cool.Throw in some screen shots and some bullet type statements/lines that sort of outline what we are about and what we offer.

did you even read my post?

the biggest point is that it has to convey its a 120 person league not just an "online dynasty" which is what people would think reading the above

Think you either need to do it in the name or somewhere very quickly that its only a ps3 league.

The Farm is going to be even more inundated with cheese.

the goal isnt to be selective in who gets TO the farm, its to get farm numbers higher than they have ever been, to maybe 50 plus players maybe more, THEN see which of those guys can be taught or which at least have a desire to learn how to play our brand of "sim football"

there are literally thousands of guys who are still like most of us were once..browsing ea forums for game info as the game is about to come out and have no idea about leagues...well..nowadays..real 120 person leagues like ours

i can name at least 10 guys here in the league now who had some real work to do in the farm just because they didnt know any better and are now extremely valuable as solid upstanding coaches

but yea....the cheese will be heavy,...the point though is to get as many in there as possible so the ones who adjust to become lactose free can have a future and the ones who dont, they can be cut without missing a beat.
