I am just starting this game and in single player and multiplayer is says with the rockets or whatever secondary weapon you have you can do vehicle lock on. How do I turn that on or use it? the AT-4 I think it's called? whatever is the first missle laucher you get in the game.

I dont think the launcher you are talking about has a lock on. The Stinger and Javelin do, but the AT-4,Thumper,and The last rocket launcher do not I believe.

For the ones that do have lock-on they beep.So when you get your sights up and locked on a target it will beep slowly and once it has a lock it will beep really fast. So beep...............beep............beep then beep..beep..beep..beep..beep.beep.

Yeah you might find it real rough with MW2 multiplayer with no sound.

I have a headset, so I use that but something happened to my sound output, prob corrosion, so my sound rarely works.
My PS3 in general is on the way out, the power and eject buttons rarely work on the system (but work if I use the controller) and the sound output rarely works.
I'm playing the spec ops with a friend now and we are having a hard time with the helicopters on the last Charlie mission. So I need to figure out how to shoot them down.

I've been playing games without sound for years now. I usually mute them and put music on instead. My ps3 sound hasn't worked for 6 months or so, so I don't know why MW2 online would need sound? I seem to suck at FPS games regardless haha.

Footsteps behind you, clinking of a nade or the beeping of a semtex, sound of a stealth strike coming, if a counter UAV is up and they throw anything in the air like a harrier or plane, you would need to hear it. If an AC130 is in the air, you need to know if the missile is going to hit you cause as its coming down you can hear it. Thats off the top of my head.

Yeah, I could see how those things are important, but I still think I would suck with sound.

It took a bit for me as well, but someone mentioned it and I saw it. After we had it figured out, AJ still couldnt figure it out. It was like when call waiting first came out and you didnt hear the beep or was confused about the beep.

You do the grunt work and I do the End Game work. I will just ignore your lies about 7-2 against me. You know damn well hoo was owning you.
