I think the NDL learned its lesson straying from COD when they bought SOCOM. I think only 3 of us didnt cause we knew that there would only be 1 FPS shooter game played by everyone. Same for GTA, slowly but surely one by one everyone came back to COD.

Picked up BF2 on Tuesday. Probably going to trade CoD in now. BF2 is just better in every single way.

The demo was interesting. But the vehicles seem like they'd get old real fast. One time some guy that was obviously very good got in the helicopter and wiped out everyone on the other team over and over again. It was silly.

Not baiting you; I have it for 360 lol. With the larger maps, better hit detection, no noob tubes, better teamwork and no kill streaks, BF is just a better game. I did lie though. I probably won't trade CoD in since it's fun for a quick run and gun fix.

I love how BF2 mocks MW2...

If you really believe people need a reason to poke fun at you, you're sorely misinformed.

Just got done with a 3 hour BF2 session. Game only gets better. You guys should really put down MW2 and give it a real shot.

I LOVE COD. But with saying that I rented this and it is some fun shit. Maps are great. The vehicles aren't to bad. Gives you a little extra fun. The games that you can play online are solid and they take some work to complete. A little harder then cod in some ways. Harder in that you just can't run and gun. You have to really work with team members. I would say rent to see if you like it but honestly I can't picture many not liking it. The more I play this the more I really like this....I don't have the map pack because I just rented it...but it shows the map pack you can purchase and then it shows when the next one is coming which is pretty cool they keep adding....TOTALLY would recommend this for atleast a rental.

Cougnix, you said the demo was not good........and now you like the game. It is the demo a little bit different from the game?

It's hard to like a game of this scale in just a demo. It didn't help much that the demo feature the worst map in the game.

MW2 is basically just a spawn, noob tube, die, spawn, rinse and repeat. The game is extremely boring with HORRIBLE maps. This is all coming from a guy who LOVED CoD4. There is no strategy to MW2 and the teamwork aspect is completely lost.

In comes Battlefield where maps are huge, well designed and fun. The hit detection is better and you can't noob tube. The vehicles are very balanced and even people on the ground aren't screwed just because there is a vehicle around. The game modes are also better.

All in all, you're doing yourself a huge disservice by not putting down MW2 and buying this game.

I hope the CoD4 map pack helps spark my interest in MW2, but I doubt it.

I bought the game the other day for discount and do not regret it. I play Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: World at War and this one. To be honest, Modern Warfare 2 is awesome in its own way with the graphics and weapons as we get upset with the servers at times. But to be honest, MW2 servers are way better as the online is available. May be lag, but available. On Battlefield 2: Bad Company, the servers.......when they are up are pretty good, no lag. But the big dilemma is, if the server is up.

I love sniping and the four sniper rifles on MW2 are not sufficient, as I like variety. ACOG, Red Dot, Thermal and iron sights are decent. But on Battlefield 2: Bad Company, there are at least seven or eight sniper rifles. And when you get each, you can customize what to have on them. Example: Scope 4x, Scope 12x, etc., which is nice. Not a lot of maps yet, but once the new ones come out, which are free when you purchased the game (comes with a code)......should have a lot of variety in terms of maps.

There are pros and cons to each game, as both are very good. I just love sniping and Battlefield 2 is the game for sniping. MW2 is the best game for all around first person shooting. Hopefully, the new maps should be awesome, in which XBOX Live will get a first crack at compared to the PS3. Stick with MW2, but for sniping at long distances and you wonder where the hell is that guy, good luck trying to find that person.......try Battlefield 2: Bad Company. Also, stay away from MAG.......one of the worst games I have ever played. Thumbs up for Battlefield 2 and MW2.

Rain makes a good point: If you like just spawning, shooting and dieing then MW2 is easily the better game.

Battlefield requires more teamwork and you actually have to work to complete your objective.

As for the servers, EA is working on them since they admitted a lot more people bought the game than they thought (I would assume due to MW2 not being very good). Battlefield has dedicated servers, while MW2 does not.
