Appreciation of JD Niddle

I just wanted to give a shout out to JD Niddle who spent 3 hours of his night yesterday trying to help me resolve my NCAA connection issues. The guy went out of his way to provide step by step instructions and complete the research required to solve my dilema.
As it turns out it was a setting with my modem that was the problem. When I called the tech desk to get my modem "unbridged" they told me they had a technical desk to help me fix my problem. I agreed to pay them their fee and sat on hold for 3 more hours, until a nice rep walked through all the problems, many already fixed by JD (im assuming its your name at this point) and figured out the problem. My modem was giving only private IP addresses to the PS3 and I needed it to be a static, non-private feed to my PS3. Or something like that, I really dont remember since it was at 2 AM but as of last night I was a Type 2 NAT. Hoping to test it out when I come home and if it doesnt work, Im throwing the whole system out the window and taking up knitting.
Also, thanks for husker for trying to help me out. Sorry I dissapeared as bridging my modem kicked me off the internet. But at least I found out it was a modem problem.
