an upset is a true upset it seems to me
for the most part in this league there are so many "good coaches", guys could take a bad team and go 8-4 or 9-3 with them.
maybe i just suck but even in scrims i find that if i have a lesser team especially by 2 or more deviations...its ALOT tougher road to hoe than in the past.
I'll be honest...in the past I think I could have taken WKU vs a ndl most valuable coach who doesnt "win" alot...and still pull it out....honestly dont think thats the case on this game
i like that, if im Akron playing vs Missouri....I should have to play an almost perfect game to pull that upset.
anyway me likey

It is insanely hard to pull upsets in this game. I am a D+ Tulane team and have played LSU, Houston, USC. Houston and USC both just fucked me up. 34 and 35 nothing, no offense.
I was down 10-7 in the 4th to LSU and had played basically a perfect game at that point almost. My offense blew donkey but had forced 5 turnovers, yet the game still wasn't giving me an inch. I just wish it was a bit easier.

in the underdogs dynasty i'm SJSU and i was tied 0-0 with Boise and I had the ball late in the 2q and they forced a fumble and returned it for a td. A flash later and it was 0-21
...can totally see what you're saying nolie. Last year was probably the year of the upset with how inept the defenses were

I just got this complaint from a friend on IM:
: It's gotten so goofy, I was losing at home to Duke
: DUKE!

I think to really have the opportunity to pull an upset you have to be with 2 rating levels of the other team. I can't see a C+ beating anyone above a B. It could happen with a B+ but it would take some monumental mistakes from the other side and some high level skill for the lower rated team.

Just played Holmey (Alabama vs NCSU) and he played great and I played the crappiest game of my life....I was still up 21-7 in the fourth and had to hang on to win 28-21

You love that about this game? I hate the fact that it is that way. Minds well not even play the games anymore cause you know a team is going to have the advantage regardless. Tired of watching balls get thrown all over the place in no apparent direction, calling perfect defensive and offense plays and still not being able to do a thing. Meanwhile, my opponent runs man all day, outside runs and on 3rd down always seems to get some crazy break and it's an easy win for them. It's just not fun being one of the smaller teams this year.
Now granted yes, it is supposed to be hard being a lesser team and I do understand that, but not to the extent that it is. I seriously have no problem on Heisman and play in an onlinedynasty that is heisman and it's so much better matched.
