how the hell did he manage that? Was he trying to pass the cop on the left shoulder?? I am trying ot go through scenarios and am at a loss right now. None of them are adding up as to why he was on the left side of that cop.

just watched it again and his brake lights never came on until he made impact with the guard rail.

His brakes didn't go out. He was just driving like an idiot and lost control. That's according to the story Riccio has posted in his clip of the day.
He lived and was responsive at the scene. His car broke into 3 pieces and he was thrown from the car.

Well then I know this sounds shallow, but good. I have seen people pass on the shoulder like this before and it bugs me. Some people think the rules of the road do not apply to them, drives me up the wall.

It was on the news here in Cleveland. They didn't state what happened yet, but the driver was in critical condition as of last night.

My internet is too slow here to see the video but if its the one where he hits the guard rail and goes airborne I saw this on FoxNews or something last night. They said it was an 18 year old male that had just gotten out of jail 15 minutes prior to either that or him being chased by the police and that he was in critical condition. Sounds like he's off to being a great addition to society if all thats true.
