is it jst me or has this offseason been incredibly long...especiallythe last 3-4 weeks or so

seemed like it would never get here.

any big plans Thursday night?

This is actually 1st time in years i dont have anything going on and dont have kids so gonna grab a 6'er, pizza and wings and watch my cocks hopefully destroy smiss and prove their finally gonna break out, watch my fantasy qb at mtsu and then watch the whole southern cal game at 11pm

...i just took friday off after i realized ima be up til 2:30...

Im with you, offseason has been longer this season.

Probably because the Red Sox suck this year and havent held my interest in the offseason as much in a pennant race.

I was going to do the same thing.

This week is gonna drag so much ass. I have my Trojans on Thursday then my H.S. game Friday then the real season and my fantasy football draft Saturday......maybe I should come up with some strep and take my sick days at work this week..........

yeah, if you use a VGA cable to the VGA/Computer port on the back of the TV, the internet and text will look good, so it will be up to the quality of the video the website is hosting.

I have a desktop and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of my PC displayed on there through HDMI from my PC's video card HDMI out!
But again, it will depend on the website's video quality.

Dude the Red Sox aren't really sucking. They're just not in first place or in first place for the wild card. I check every day and they can pretty much be in first place in almost any other division. I read an article about how this season really doesn't have the magic. The injuries, the roster, the slump at the beginning of the season. Don't count out the Red Sox just yet my friend.

Yea, Ive done some tests with the soccer thats currently on since the game will be on ESPN3 and the quality has been pretty impressive.

Sure its not HD quality but its better than not watching the game.

All you need is this Dave if your TV has a VGA connection which it should since it looks like a newer flat screen.

This could probably be a whole different thread but since ya'll are talking about it here maybe someone can help. I have a laptop with an HDMI slot that I can plug the cable in and right to my TV. The first time I did it it automatically sent the picture from my laptop to the TV, since that day I can never get the picture to display. I am an idiot at computers so theres probably something I need to do but that first time it just recognized it and it was there, now its just a blank screen whenever i connect the 2 with the HDMI cable. ANy suggestions?

The laptop is an Alienware M17X with all the updated window shit and fancy gadgets. Should be fairly simple I would think...

Sucking wasnt the corect word so my bad there.

All of what you said is definitely correct. They would be in first place in almost every other division I think I read and the injuries this year have been ridiculous and an awesome job by Tito to have them where they are.

I personally think they needed to sweep the Rays to have a chance but now 7 back with little time left Im losing hope.

I do think Francona deserves some recognition for manager of the year but it wont happen.

Function + F4 on my laptop. both at the same time.

Could be totally wrong but forgot how I did it but I think you right click on your desk top and go into the display settings.

Then from there you can see what needs to be clicked to get the screen showing whats on the laptop.

Mine automatically does it now but I forgot how I set it up. Niddler can probably tell you.

I bought all the cords, did all the steps, and after about 3 solid days of 3 hours per day of tinkering, I completely gave up on it, lol.

I have a feeling when LSU plays Louisiana Tech A&M State this year and its on ESPN3, you will get that urge again!!

PC's are not all the same as far as FN + F buttons go for getting a display up. You want to look for the F button that has an icon that looks like this on it.


Could be F4, F5, F7 or F8. There are 3 different functions Laptop Only, LCD only, and both.

Speaking of Nole and college football, when is the firs Saturday of the 3 TVs and BBQ for a big college football Saturday??

Im free most of them except 9/11 (sky diving, Cathy birthday party) and 10/9 (heading to the FSU/Miami game with sausage fingers)

We need to do that and find a Saturday AJ is free too.

I have off for every Saturday that LSU has a "big" game.

So, we just gotta hammer a date out, confirm it, then wait a week or so for us to start bailing one by one.
