How in the hell do you guys come up with User Picks? I seem to get position very often, but when I attempt to pick it off, the sorry fucker just bats it down.

Is it all about timing? Or just mashin' the fuckin button til your fingers bleed?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Me after a game of NCAA:

You time it like a real catch. Just get in position and then press the catch button when the ball is close to you. Think of the button as the way you extend your hands to catch the ball.

alot of times i switch then dont do anything lol, they do it by themselves and i get user credit

if im actually already controlling the guy, my guys tend to bat it away as well.

its weird though, some games i do it and it seems they cant miss

Hold down triangle instead of tapping or mashing 7 times before the ball gets there.

Get to the spot, hold triangle, and you have a better shot.

Also make sure to utilize the strafe!

switch at the last minute and mash triangle lol.

Thanks for the advice guys. I truly am starting to believe that the little pixelated dude that I'm controlling can sense how nervous I am about something actually going my way, so he chokes just like he knows I expect him to.
