It looks like I am going to break down and buy a headset this weekend, do any of you have any recommendations?

If you want to spend the extra money and get a better quality headest...go to your local radio shack and buy the dual ear headset (logitech USB) it was 49.99 when I bought it, but it gives your 2 ear things and it is comfortable.

If not then just go buy the wireless bluetooth.

Plantronics is a quality bluetooth headset. I got mine for $30 off of ebay. Works great with the PS3 and my cell.

I have a wireless bluetooth that I sometimes use. Don't remember what that cost. I just recently went the LGF route and LOVE having the dual ear headset. Found it at Best Buy for $35. It was NOT easy to convince the wife that I needed more than one headset! Guess that's where oral sex comes in handy!

normally when that happen on my blue tooth just hit volume up or down and it should clear up

or try and going to audio devices on PS3 menu and dissconnect then reconnect the blue tooth

Should have bought the official PS3 Bluetooth headset so you wouldn't have to deal with synching issues/poor sound quality.
