My system factors in margin of victory since the NDL comes installed with a rule that prevents padding the numbers.

Interesting; what formula are you using?

I don't wanna cause a stir but do people fuckin' try? lol.

Example: 0-1 Iowa 34 pts, 2-0 (at the time) Miss 11 pts

I'm not asking for votes cause last thing I want is to give people free points lol, but jesus people put some effort into it.

MoV
MoV over winning teams
Winning percentage against winning teams
Your standard 67/33 SoS
and other standard shit.

So, blast winning teams and you will do well with my vote. I thought about adding a BCS element but with the coaching turnover and sharp differential between coaches, I felt that "winning teams" was a better component than just what conference you are in.

Iowa went from 155 points in the first poll to 34 (Iowa was in 28th and now is 41st)
Ole Miss stayed at 11 points.

Basically Iowa could of gone from 60-70 Votes in the Top 25 down to 3-5 Votes

Just because a team starts off 0-1 doesn't mean you shouldn't get votes. Hell, that happens in real life. Now if they started 0-2, I could see your point.

Also, just like real life, when you start the season off people's radar, it takes a bit to move up. Just like if you were an non-AQ team (MAC, CUSA, etc.) You might start the season 6-0 before you get one point for a #25 vote.

90 coaches voted....not bad, but I dont see how everyone don't submit a vote. I see a few guys missing out just cause they got busy or forgot every once in a while///but 30 is alot considering it takes 10 mins. and is a big part of your season points.

dont know if you remember the average number of people per vote, but its usually in the 70s, so this had a higher turnout than normal. But I agree, its easy points when it comes down to the end of the season.

Yeah I can't believe I missed the first two already this season. Was in Lincoln this weekend for the game and didn't get back into town late Monday and told myself on the plane ride back I needed to do it when I got back and still forgot. Doh!
