I was going to get my girls(7 & 10) a Wii of their own but as of right now I don't have my own place and they will not take it to their mother's. When I get my new place, probably beginning of the year) they will get one. We play my sister's Wii while I stay with her and it's actually in the room I stay in. Was thinking a couple of Wii games and a couple of dolls.
What are the big games this year and what people are getting their kids?

I have 2 sisters near that same age range, and the Hasbro (sp) Game Night for Wii will probably be on my list for them. It has about 5 of the biggest board games of all time on one disc. I know they like board games, so almost a no brainer for me.

What do you buy for a boy that just turned 2? He likes trains but he already has most of the thomas metal trains. Cant seem to find a track for them. Anyone have any ideas?

The hot Wii game of the year will be Epic Mickey. Comes out November 30th I believe, I dunno how hard it will be to get, but I have been reading about it and it will be a hot item.

I have a little boy that will be 3 in December. I am pretty sure I hear about this toy 30 times a day, so this is what he is getting for his birthday.

Another game for the Wii could be Donkey Kong Country, it can be a tougher game though those dance video games would cool also.

the "just dance" games for the wii are great. there's just dance 1, just dance 2, and my wife found a kid friendly version with tons of songs on it, just dance kids or something like that.
the michael jackson game is like the just dance ones, as well.

So, this year my wife and I have her 13-year old brother and sister living with us, as her mom is in Iraq working for the government. Their mom has told us to get them certain things for christmas (she's paying), and one of them is to get both of them a bike. As I've never bought bikes before, anything I should look for? I don't know what's too much or too little to spend, the best brands to look for, etc ... anyone able to help?

get kids bikes from walmart
they are just as sturdy as "top line" bikes and they have a good selection of different ones that are though of as "cool" by the kids
and they're pretty inexpensive.
find one of those superwalmarts though for the biggest selection.

The big gifts this year for my daughters are a laptop and an IPod Touch for my 11 year old and a Nintendo 3D, a couple of games and a MP3 player for my 8 year old. Might get them bikes as well but money getting tight. Looks like I will hit the $1000 mark for them this year
