As expected........

Community boss Josh Olin wrote over on the developer's forums: "Hey PS3 gamers, we are listening to you and we've been busy working on updates based on feedback from the community.


"We have already deployed a number of updates, and there will be many more to come. Stay tuned right here for all the latest info."

Here are the details of what's been sorted already and what's in the works:

Live fixes
- Villa: User can clip into rock at west edge of grid zone B2 and see through to the other side
- Crisis: User can clip into LVT between grid zone A3 and B3 and see through to the other side
- User can get an infinite number of 'Sam Turret', 'Care Package' and 'Sentry Gun' killstreaks (commonly referred to as the "care package glitch")
- Radar sweep when there are only 2 players left in One in the Chamber will stop functioning if the 2 players have multiple lives when the sweep starts
- Crash when viewing content (films, clips, etc) in the Community & Recent Games menu
- Users' rank and stats can get wiped under very specific conditions
- Online number counts were not updating properly; these are now reporting exact online numbers
- Parties getting disbanded when host did not find a match quickly

In progress
- Improved matchmaking to find matches faster
- Improved match and host selection; will result in much better networking conditions for all games (a.k.a., decreased lag)
- Weekly and Monthly leaderboards stats reporting incorrectly for kills, deaths and assists (All Time leaderboard not affected by this)
- Additional improvements to party system

So wheres the stuff like increasing gun damage and decreasing recoil?

Hit detection? Nothing like lighting someone up and then getting two bullets in you and dying.

Yeah, I have no problem with the actual mechanics of the guns. I smoke motherfuckers. I just get shot from behind just as quickly.

i just stole some dudes gun cause i ran out and went offffff

it had kind of a circle aim thing, i know thats not saying much and it was automatic (lol, i dont know dick about these guns) seemed to have good range and not alot of recoil

i think thats key for us noobs

I finally got the edinfield or whatever and hit double digits each match in kills.

i've been going 15+ kills 6 rounds in a row...

i actually feel good and the game is wayyyy more fun like this, lol

That is because we know how the game should be playing. It should be smoother and the hit detection should be improved. I’m more than ever convinced that the problems we are seeing are port related. That is why the patch is in production so quickly.

If you like the game now you will love it once it runs the way it should.

You probably won't see this so someone will eventually have to reply. I think you are correct. Earlier, I was bitching about my Internet connection here in Costa Rica. I simply cannot play in the day. My connection is awful and I can't hit shit. This isn't your normal "OH! I SHOT HIM!" bullshit.

THAT SAID, I don't have a problem and, if it is an issue, may that not fix it because I am in super fucking beast mode, especially on your beloved Domination.

Why would I not see that?

I agree Dave once you start getting a little better and actually killing people, the game is addictive as shit...or so I have heard.

I get pumped when I get my little 3 kill streaks and drive the RC car around. I havent killed anyone with it, but thats besides the point.

I have not even driven the RC car yet.

I went straight for the chopper gunner because it's so fun just destroying the other team with it. It also reminds me of the scene in Full Metal Jacket.

Either way, I think you are right. I understand that a shitty connection would cause issues. However, not to the extent that it is happening. It seems as if the crappy connection I have is just exaggerating the problem.

Then again, like I said, I fucking love it!! I am crushing fools!

You can tell it's more than just lag because even when you get a good connection there is still a fair amount of stutter. I'm guess that is the frame rate jumping all around. There is just nothing smooth about this game right now.
