a system on friend invites. Something like new names with only 2 or 3 friends on each list, that way every one is covered if we each have 2 or 3 different names on each buddy list. Hoos start labbing and figure the magic number.

ya thats definitely not the reason for this shit lol.

The issue is because the game is what.. 5 days old and they couldnt possibly test the servers with 100 000+ people on it

You nailed that one. Here is the official notice from Treyarch.

Re: Good News: For those of you experiencing Frame-Rate Drops :)

Posted: 1 day ago
Early indicators seem to indicate that their is a bug with the PS3 Friends list. Although the original posters technical details are not 100% accurate, his diagnosis/remedy is reasonably accurate.

This has been fixed and we will get into an update ASAP.

I want to lock this thread so that people know that I endorse this work-around, but I am not going too. (I say I and not we because this is a developing situation and it's too early to speak on behalf of Treyarch on it) but I am not going to lock it yet, because I want to see if this fixes a good majority of the frame rate hit some of you have been experiencing.

Please let any reply after this one stay on topic and report if this is getting better as a result of this work around.

PS:
To the OP, the 2 smartest programmers in the building wanted me to give you a *cookie* and say thanks. It's awesome to see the community helping each other, and do so without a bunch of emotional baggage behind it. Those types of posts will always get our full attention while the ones filled with a bunch of rage will continue to get ignored. We owe you one.

I don't really notice that much of a problem. The only big issue I see is trouble getting into parties and occasional slowdown during games. It'll be fixed before long.

I counted mine up. I've got 37 people on my list that have this game. No wonder this thing is fucking me.

Triple post!

We know a fix is on the way so I say we go NDL wager matches until it comes out. All the other modes just aren't worth it right now. I'm assuming it wont take long to get the patch out. :?

I do not have time for scrims, I need to get points and shit!!!

I agree though, it really sucks with the constant dropping of parties and in and out of gameplay.

Well, you do make money of wager matches to buy things for the guns.

but doesnt the top 3 get money, not everyone?

Not speaking for everyone, but I know that I cant get top 3 vs most of the "A Team" NDL players, so I would just be losing money.

yeah, its tied to your account, not the PS3.

You would go back to level 1

Sticks and Stones has nothing to do with skill, just watch Hoos vids and you will see

Seriously, its all luck in that game, the maps are cut down, you cant hide. Your many goal is to not get hit with the hatchet with .001 secs when you are in the money

I noticed today that it was much better. I've almost got my K/D on TDM back up to even again.
