Aight, so the wife is asking me what I want for Christmas and this game seems to be pretty good. BUT, I don't want it to be like GTA4 where I bought it and was done playing it within a month (as so was everyone else).
So far, what is everyone's take on it? Do you think you will still be playing it come the new year?

are you the one who plays 1 game a year other than ncaa? if so, then black ops would be a good choice. You really will want to go for an online game and for that black ops can't be beat.

Gran Turismo finally was released today if you are more into racing games. Going to try it out at a friends house, but from what I have seen looks to be a good game.
If you go with Black Ops, it will be for the multiplayer only. The campaign mode is fine, but you will be done with it in less than a week (playing it maybe 30 mins to an hour per day). Your replay value, as with most COD games, is in the multiplayer portion
