I got skewered in a few reports and I appreciate it. I got my lowest coaching report score ever and I got told why. Good stuff.
Edit: Seriously, not complaining. All of the complaints listed are valid.

How many points do we need to keep our teams?
Also, what is a nano blitz? I got this report but I have no idea what it means,
"Also knocked off for bunching line and lining safety or LB up to blitz creating a nano blitz."

Nano blitz is when soon as you sy hike it's a sack even on FB dives
It often occurs when you shift the line around or create what is called the bear defense where the Guards and center have a dlineman to block thus the inside LB blitz comes in untouched

Is this a "glitch" in this years game or good stratgy by the defensive coach as to overloading the dline? Also could the offensive coach not audible to an outside run or throw a quick pass to an open receiver that was hot routed?

I thought the actual "nano" blitz was a glitch. I have guys blitz all the time up the middle and I will do the same. Now I have had my qb tackled on the goal line and short yardage plays before even being able to hand the ball off...guess this explains that one.
In general though, just because someone blitzes up the middle and gets a relatively quick sack, that doesn't make it a "nano" blitz. Hopefully most guys know just when someone is sending the house or doing something fishy. Definitely a huge difference.

I have one problem with one comment which left me awfully confused.
BORING! Mostly run, then when passing throws to RB or FB.
- Kris Adams #2 (WR) 41 622 8 193
Russell Carr #17 (WR) 25 497 4 135
Donovan Kemp #84 (WR) 21 496 2 132
Leslie Jordan #9 (WR) 19 405 1 126
Jonny Moore #36 (TE) 29 394 1 177
Leilyon Myers #22 (FB) 18 177 2 117
Evan Davis #19 (WR) 7 98 1 10
Donald Buckram #13 (RB) 11 91 0 46
I mean this is everyone's choice to vote the way they want, but I can't see how in 14 games and the running backs had a combined 29 catches (2 per game) is throwing to my rb and fb. I did lead the league in rushing, but the rushing to passing was 216 to 198 averages for me which seemed pretty balance. I thought it was the best balance i had in the NDL, but can't make everyone happy.

That's the thing and there isn't any way around it and nor should there be. I got chewed out and applauded for the exact same thing. For instance, one guy was bothered by the fact that "would do anything to win" and someone else thought that was great. Just don't outright break rules and you should be fine.
Personally, I have taken a complete about face and have become brutal on coaching reports.

I hate to say it but some people will just complain about anything because they can't take a loss. I got a comment saying I crash my line too much... What's funny is that I haven't done that once in this game lol.

I got my best coach report scores for my worst season ever (2-10). I think that explains everything.

the nano blitz thing, as i remember from madden, was when guys would physically move people into certain places. if someone is shifting, we should just deal with it. nothing wrong with that. same with the line crashing stuff. that's a valid thing to do. it's not the craziness that it used to be. how could you even tell that, anyway? some of the plays themselves have the d-line angling.
as far as reports go, it only takes one crazy low report to really drop a coaching report. i had someone basically give me 2s last season when everyone else gave me all 5s. it's amazing how far that can drop a report. that's the downside of not doing what we used to do with dropping the lowest and the highest. i guess folks worried about not getting a true picture because you could, in essence, take a game off and just do as you please, but it did make up for out of whack reports that might be unwarranted or done without ever telling why.

I am confused by your logic here!
Isn't the point of the coaching reports to give your opponent honest feedback on how they played the game?
As someone posted in the past, take 10 minutes or more after a game to breathe before you fill out your opponents report. The point is not to bash them, or be hard or easy on someone or if you are some of the people in the league that cannot take a loss, the point is not to fill it out when you are pissed off.
Again, the point is to give your opponent honest feedback. If they did something you didn't like, tell them. But don't give someone all 4's and NOT tell them why they did not get all 5's. They deserve to know why you did not give them a perfect score.
But I will say, if you are on AIM or on a headset during a game, if your opponent does something that you do not agree with, pause the game and talk about it.
Nothing pisses me off more than to think everything is cool...both telling each other afterwards GG and hey man, good luck this season. You played a hell of a game...etc.
Only to find out that my opponent is a little chicken shit and won't speak up on the mic or on AIM.
We are all adults here.
Don't be afraid to talk with your opponent and tell them during the game, what you don't like. Give them a chance to fix it while it is occurring.
But remember, the point of the coaching reports to give your opponent honest feedback on how they played the game.

Yea never fails....11 people that say great str8 game... great coach...ONE person that wants to say shit like this is what I expect from this person, and your a cheesedick, and dock the hell out of you... All the while he never says a single thing to you before, during, or after the game...I dont understand that at all.....This doesnt help at all..
I can just plan on getting docked by the same person again..instead of changing the way I beat his ass and making him happy or giving him something different to complain about. If you want people to play different have the balls to say something to them before(if you think you have had an issue with them in the past), during(if you see something happening while you play) or after if it doesnt dawn on you till then...dont just be a bitch on the reports..Its not helpful.

i dont like getting involved in coaching report arguments cause most of them are silly. but:
-- you shouldn't grade based on how YOU think the game should be played. you should grade on how the league thinks the game should be played.
for example. if you dislike playaction and think it should never be used. you can't (well you can, but you shouldn't be imo)dock a guy cause he uses it. the league says it can be used in moderation and in realistic situations. there are guys that will dock a guy if they even use it once because that particular person feels its cheese. thats counter-productive.
either way... even with all the bitching, moaning and groaning... thru 12 reports you should get a big enough representation to get a fair and accurate assessment of your gameplay.

I got the lowest score ever on reports this year. 10% worse than my worst before. I did have my best record of my NDL career...hmmm.
I normally like to say things to the other person that bother me over AIM. But the last few seasons I felt that all I got was excuses and well you did this shit. If I want to talk about something or say oops for something that I might have accidentally done, I want it to be civil and if I see it's not going to be, I stop the conversation. I have had many constructive conversations about my play and the play of others, but there is always gonna be that few that are "cry babies" and think if they lost you did something cheesy in your gameplay.
My reports were all positive, but one. That one negative was "what a joke, no variety at all", now how does this comment help me at all. No variety in what, run vs pass, zone vs man, defensive formations, offensive formations....comments like this need more info.
