NDLH Timeline
Dave and I have put together a timeline
-Playoffs will be added once we see what happens tonight when we advance
Today (April 11th):
- Sim remaining regular season games 5-6 pm (et) PLEASE DO NOT START A GAME AFTER 4pm eastern
- Advance to playoffs (this could put a delay on the playoffs if it does not advance correctly)
- if the advancing fails, we will set up a separate league for the playoffs and invite the coaches in, draft
- Boot players and invite in new owners
Wednesday (April 13th):
- 7pm (et) please have Keepers sent: East teams PM your keepers to Dealer and West teams PM keepers to Driccio. We will then verify also please include the round the player was drafted (The sooner you get this to us the better so we're not slammed on Thursday)
Here is a link to look at salaries (http://www.hoopsworld.com/NBASalaries.asp )if it’s on there it will be counted towards their average. Remember 20 million is your cap, if you can keep them and your total is under this amount you are good. If you want to keep a player and their salary is above 20 mil, you can keep that player only.
Thursday/Friday (April 14-15):
- Teams not making the playoffs will be entered into the draft lottery the teams in the playoffs will be put in order of their regular season record (worst to best)
- Draft Order will be released, with teams keepers.
Sunday (April 17th):
-Start draft for Season 2
-Playoffs will be added once we see what happens tonight when we advance

Re: NDLH Timeline

Whoa, hold on. I thought it was the average salary across the lifetime of the contract not just this year's salary.ajalves wrote:obviously current season salaries as well

I'm not questioning you. I just thought that it was the average from what was said in the other thread.ajalves wrote:ohLetsGoPeay wrote:Whoa, hold on. simming games now
we completed 516 out of 600 games
considering how it snowballs when just 1 or 2 guys are inactive HUGE success. hopefully our 2 new adds to the next season get us an even better season 2.
job well done guys, especially the guys who finished up with no playoff opportunity

How will we have a draft list if the playoffs aren't over yet?dealer4014 wrote:Sunday (April 17th):

Re: NDLH Timeline
draft order is going to be based on the regular season record rather then the playoff outcome for the non-lottery teams.

Re: NDLH Timeline
just a heads up on the simming
i'm using a combination of things:
-- playoff implications (trying not to mess with the orders thru simming games)
-- the guys getting booted are losing all their sims (Lakers and Jazz)
-- attempts at scheduling in close games (if both guys are trying i'm using the random)
-- teams that have no real playoff implications are getting random simmed
-- one team is clearly better then the other (this is last resort but if it comes down to Houston and Chicago and neither is attempting to schedule then Houston gets win.)
just giving everyone a heads up so they understand the thought process behind this.
