Fun education games?

My gf is looking for some games that her two-year old niece can play on her PS3. She's into animals and (weirdly enough) zombies, but my gf is looking to get some games that have some educational value as well.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. We are going to get Angry Birds for her, but beyond that we're not sure of what else would be good.

Custer's Revenge is a good one. It's not animals but it's about Native Americans and US History. Don't mention it to Oldschoola though.

to play on PS3 for a two year old? Nothing. ipod touch or iphone maybe or the PC where she just has to move the mouse.

get the putt putt seriers of games
at her age its excellent for teaching mouse skills and introduces them to logic and abstract thinking
down give them all to her at once (or show them all at once)..go in order, introducing each once after she's completed them whether it by 1 day or 1 month.
when she's 3 maybe 4, u can introduce the pajama sam games. same deal but a tiny bit more "complex"
by the way, those are for the pc. having 3 firls i can tell you the ps3 SUCKS for games "for girls"
and even moreso for kids under 5 games

She's quite a smart and active two year old....my gf has let her use the iPhone but seeing as it's somewhat on its last leg lately, she'd rather her use the PS3.
She's played Angry Birds and absolutely loved it.
Nole, I'll have her look into it. We're just worried about her doing something to damage the laptop. A $50 controller is easier to replace than a laptop/iPhone

But those are great suggestions, I'll pass them along.
Peay....you're an evil man

I'm not teaching a two-year old how to rape an Indian woman!

it doesn't matter how smart or active she is, they just don't make educational games for kids that age for the ps3. If you have Move or a Wii, you might find some games she would enjoy, but outside of that you have virtually no options.

They don't all have to be educational games. While she'd like them to have some educational value, it's just an added bonus.
I'm basically looking for games that guys in here have gotten for their young ones that are worth recommending, as the options on PS3 are so many with very little "previews" to go by.
