Both my 5th grader and 1st grader were "distinguished scholars" meaning they got all A's all year long and had excellent conduct. Just got their report cards in the mail yesterday and had no B's. I am extremely proud of my girls. Oldest got accepted to a fine arts magnet school next school year.

thats awesome, but please tell me you do not have a bumper sticker that says your son/daughter is an honor student on your car

just got back from the 4th grade awards show.

My 4th grader won the "excellence in Music" award(he plays bass guitar in the elementary band) and the 3 straight 9 weeks of straight a's award.

my 1st grader got all "+"s (plusses) and won the excellence in math award.

good kids, very proud of them

Told my oldest he could get a BB gun if he managed straight A's again.....so thats happening today. he's pumped! (i am too to be honest )

we'll do something nice for the youngest as well and enjoy the next 10 weeks off

bad ass stuff.

you guys should be very proud of yourself.

My kindergartner and 1st grader currently have straight S+'s on the elementary grading system. My 3 year old recently stopped pooping his pants. While I'm happy with all of them, wanna take a guess as to which one is getting "Daddy's Gold Star" award this weekend?

My son received the "President's Awards for Academic Excellence". He was given a very nice gold pin with the Presidential seal and a plaque with Obama's signature.

Very proud of him to say the least.

Shea's latest report card... i too am quite proud, but i think it has more to do with the financial contributions i make to her 'school' than her actual behavior.

since we're all still bragging on our kids, myself included, the one my 4th grader is most proud of is the fact he won the Presidential Fitness award in PE...

i didn't realize they did that in 4th grade

i remember i was off the charts on everything and then pull ups came and my scrawny ass could only do like 2 and i needed 7 and i didn't make it. i'm still self concious about not being able to do those pull ups to this day and its one of the reasons i do pull ups more than just about anything else when i'm at the gym

The sit and reach did me in. I could barely, and I mean just barely make it over the fucking minimum.

18 year old fought off senioritis despite having TWO classes being an aide

5 year old made it through Kindergarten only having her mom and I being called twice for beating up another kid...true story...in all fairness though, they were both in 1st half of year

i feel like my school didn't take that shit seriously. I wanted to do all that stuff and our gym teachers just gave up

...for you parents out there, do you have reward systems each year or anything like that? I was thinking about the future and how I'd treat things like that and i was curious for the ones succeeding or struggling if you had those things in place

I am jealous...I think my youngest will be the most aggressive of the two.

My daughter's the same way. She's all demure and girly in sports but if there's an argument or any kind of rough housing going on, she morphs into a 52 pound hulk-girl complete with red eyes and snarling. Bitches be crazy yo.

He and i had about a 3 hour shooting competition in the back yard tonight.....good stuff
