Thanks guys for a great season. Special thanks to those who took on a 2nd team to finish the season strong. I think, with all things considered, the last 2 seasons have been a great success and hopefully we'll fine tune and get this to be an annual thing in every offseason.
Below is the playoff's for NDLH2
- all settings are same as regular season
- i am going to reset all the league games between you and your opponent so we can see the games boxscores as they are being played (i think this should work as long as you play your opponent home/away... if it doesn't work we'll use custom challenges)
- all rounds are best of 3 with higher ranking team being home for games 1 and 3
- i realize some may have scheduling issues so best of 3 may be tough, if both coaches agree you can play a 1 game winner take all.
- a game recap
IS REQUIRED

I'm confused...
I woke up this morning crying in my pillows and depressed that I didn't get my last 4 required games in...
But I'm looking at this thread and I see I'm in the playoffs?! Is this just a formality to make the formatting look nice or did the Wizards in fact not make the cut?

#3 Toronto smacks #6 NY in game 1 81-72.
Toronto was up 15 in the 4th and then eased up late as AJ Price put on a shooting display to get the lead to under 10. Amazingly the game was tied at half or within a point or 2 (i forget) but the 3rd quarter the Knicks went ice cold and couldnt get a bucket and they also couldn't stop the Raptors offense.
Toronto was led by Kobe but also had nice efforts out of Jorebko and Williams off the bench

Game 1:
OKC - 34
Suns - 49
Suns came out and just put a beat down as Thunder could not hit anything to save their lives. Phoenix just dominated and then my cat decided to turn the PS3 off during the 3rd quarter, Suns get the win as there was no way i was making any kind of comeback
Game 2: (i think that was the score)
Suns 83
Thunder 73
The Thunder come out and play great basketball for 3 quarters and then in the 4th quarter we just choke, down the final four minutes of the game we could only manage 2 points and the Suns go on a big run to eliminate the Thunder from the post season
great playing jeffdaddy, good luck the rest of the way!

Suns win Game #1 by 15..
Suns were lead by Kevin Durant, who at the point of DC had 22 points on 9-13 shooting.
Big fella Lopez had 16 points on 6-7 shooting.
Suns go on the road to see the Thunder in Game #2
Thunder were up 5 pts at the half, but the Suns would turn it around by punching it inside to Lopez on 3 straight possessions..
Durant had 28 points on 9-17 shooting and he was aided by Kyle Lowry who had 19 pts.
Great games Dealer!!

Blazers advance to 2nd round with a 2-0 series win over the Lakers. Game 1 featured a great defensive performance by the Lakers as they forced several turnovers in the 1st half giving them a 41-29 lead. 3rd quarter the Blazers would take better care of the ball, but couldn't put much of a dent in the lead and trailed 62-49. 4th quarter belonged to the Blazers as they would turn the table and force a number of turnovers of their own and get some easy baskets to finally take the lead late in the 4th and hold on for the win. J.R. Smith would get player of the game.
2nd game was pretty much a mirror image of the 1st. Lakers would pretty much control it until the 4th where the Blazers would somehow find another gear and get the win. Derron Williams would get the player of the game. GG's Reign thanks for getting them in.

Yeah, that's exactly what I thought in game 1 against Talented, before homecourt, his defense and D-Will decided it was time for a 20-2 run.

Pistons take Game 1 over the pesky Bucks, 94-73. The Pistons jumped out to a 20-11 lead, but then watched the Bucks go on a 14-4 run to put the game back in the balance. It went back and forth after that until about mid third quarter, when the Pistons went on a run and pushed the lead to 16 after three. After that the Pistons went on cruise control and closed out the win to go up 1-0 in the series.
The Pistons got huge games from their big guns:
Steph Curry: 26 min, 19 pts on 8/11 (3/4), 3 steals, 3 assists, 3 reb
Stephen Jackson: 22 min, 18 pts on 8/11 (2/3), 5 reb, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 block
John Wall: 23 min, 17 pts on 7/11 (1/1), 6 assists, 4 steals
Tim Duncan: 23 min, 16 pts on 7/12, 10 reb, 2 assists
They also got a second straight great game from Daniel Orton, who had 8 pts on 4/5 shooting, and Udrih offset his 0/6 shooting with 4 assists.
On the Bucks' side, Chris Bosh and Kevin Martin each had 14 pts, but Kidd had 6 turnovers and the Bucks hit only 8 of 25 three pt attempts, while the Pistons--who led the league in 3pt% on the year--went 6/12.
Play of the game: John Wall pulling a Blake Griffin, hanging in the air for almost three seconds and then throwing it down--literally--over Chris Bosh. (will post photo if they ever show up on the online servers....)
Great game AU, I'll catch u on Sunday!
