*total # of losses component of BCS are taken from # at time of last Massey update
*SOS is taken from SCHp (SOS based only on games played. To get an estimate on season ending SOS look to SCHf)

a 2 loss Air Force having a 1st place vote or even being in the top 20 is silly.

Hey Mark I appreciate you taking the time to update the voting aid even after your wife gave birth to your 3rd child. I know some of the games were played after you took the time during a very busy weekend to update it. Thanks again for your hard work during a very busy time in your life.

I fixed it for you

So if the voting aid isn't there you don't take the entire 20 - 30 minutes to figure it out yourself and just vote blindly?

This is not pointed at you VVV, but some guys in this league kill me that they need everything spoon fed to them.

Some of the teams that are in the top 25, no disrespect to their coaches, but it is just laughable.

Guys have to go out and do their homework. It honestly took me 20 minutes to get a piece of paper, write down the current top 25 in order, then bring up the standings page, start at the top and I wrote down any team that had 3 losses or less and their records.
For the current top 25, I have them in the current order and put in their record.
Then I make a new column and start my new top 25.

20 minutes, 30 tops. This is only once every 2 weeks. Is that really too much to ask?

As Buckeye posted, I am extremely grateful for what Mtwasik does, but if he is too busy to create it, I don't just go in and vote blindly so my vote counts. Make it mean something. Take the little bit of time to do your homework and vote!

IMHO if you are super lazy, this league is not for you!

But I understand your point.

Intriguing...

Boise St is the highest rated 1 Loss team? Not to knock Nole and his great season, but I'm scratching my head on this one.

If the season were to end today, Boise would sit ahead of MSU & UCONN; two 1 loss Conference Champs from BCS conferences...

I don't see a scenario in real life where that would ever be possible #imo

I have not looked yet, but Boise's SOS may have been better.
Again, I have not looked, just my first thought.

Although, Massey does not take SOS into account, does it? I thought I just read someone posting that it does not.

Another thought is when did these teams lose?

In the preseason, Boise was ranked high. UConn I believe was unranked. Michigan St may have been ranked, but low. So they had to work their way up when Boise was already up there. Boise and UConn lose in week 5 and MSU loses in week 9 (or possibly later because of it being a replacement coach). Just like in real life it is all about where you start the season and when you lose if you are a 1 loss team.

Alabama has 45 first place votes at #3. Crazy. Not very often you see the lower ranked team have more first place votes than the #1 or #2 team.
