is the voting aid suppose to have ranked wins from past polls or just the current polls?

having a ranked win over a team in week 1 who ends up being 0-12 wouldn't mean much

good thing it still means something in points.. And I highly doubt a team ranked in week 1 would go 0-12 .. unless they just didn't play a game. And in some cases a teams ranking during a certain period when playing does matter. As early in the season a team could of been on point before later collapsing due to numerous reasons.. Does not make that team any less challenging or good when it was playing well early in the season.

No, it shows what the team was when you beat them, and that's how its always done. For instance, end of the season, when you look back at Oklahoma's win yesterday, it will be over the 5th-ranked FSU team, not what they are ranked in Sept.

oh well then not all teams on the aid are showing the past rankings of some of the teams they played. I know it is quite a bit to check and double check.. But If people use the aid for that purpose, and see where some teams played so so ranked teams, and compared to similar team but that team is not showing some of its ranked oppts.. so might penalize them..

Not really that big of deal though for me as I m waiting for massey to release for voting to assist me as well..

Which ones aren't showing up? Usually I'm able to catch which ones didn't transfer over from the previous week

Quite a bit of them.. almost every team ranked # 3 down has games that are not showing the ranking of a ranked team with they played at that time .. Examples would be Ohio State not being ranked on anyone schedule , and I m pretty sure they were ranked through 6 weeks of the season. Teams ranked early in the season, TCU, FSU. .. SC is not showing as a ranked oppt on MST schedule, MSU not showing ranked on Michigans Schedule.. these are just examples,, there are others.

Pretty sure Miami was ranked through the first several week of polls as well....

and NC St wasn't when i played him week 1. so clearly that shouldn't count as much

The Voting aid does not show rankings in previous weeks as it should either, as people mentioned, several teams were ranked earlier in the season and it is not showing that.

Do we know if this is something that will get fixed ASAP before this vote or should we not count on it?

50/50 JD. We will do our best to get it corrected. But if its not, vote accordingly.

ok, the system isn't working the same way it was last season, so I'll have to check on that, sorry guys. Last season, it wasn't adding in rankings to previous weeks. This won't happen again next season.

Thanks for looking into it Mark. It will be corrected for Season 23.

just to make this clear... if you're looking at ranked wins like that you'd be rewarding teams who say beat say a top 15 ranked UNLV early in the year(who will probably end up ranked in the 80's or something on massey at the end) but not be rewarding BC for his win over me, since i don't think i was ranked at the time he beat me.

seems like a weird thing to take into account when voting.

everyone should and can vote as they like, maybe i'm just missing something here.
