So in the last couple weeks I have been able to play 4 NDL games as well as some games for the farm and have had no issues connecting with people.

MVikes has played games online as well with no issues.

But when we try to connect to play our league game, we can not connect.

I saw Noles post, but I am not having trouble with everyone, just with MVikes.

Suggestions?

u dmz your ps3 and bridge your modem (if you're behind a router)?

whats it doing? giving you the same team on the team matchup screen?

fyi - its weird but you can sometimes connect to 49 out of 50 guys, but without the above, there will be 1 that it just wont go through for

OK, I will try and mess with this when I get home.

He will invite me to a game, I accept and then we are selecting teams, his never changes on my screen and then he disconnects.

I do use a Linksys router so I guess I'll have to see how to bridge it.

hey weis,

u actually bridge the modem not the router. "bridging" means you take routing functionality away from the modem and let the router do the work (all routers have the ability anyway)

bridging means it just converts the signal from the dsl line to being able to be acrried across ethernet.

anyway, i would dmz the ps3 in your router 1st, its easiest and solves 99% of the cases.

we can do a temp trial in less than 2 minutes tonight if mvikes is around to try....THEN if that works...after your game i'll show you how to make it permanent.

if that doesnt work, then we'll need about 5 mins (maybe less) to brige your modem.

see if vikes has about 15 mins to try with us.
