How the hell did Purdue go 5-8 last season? Did they make a bowl?

I was shocked too at the number of 5-7 teams in bowls but the higher ups say several are selected to bowls every season.

if there arent enough teams then sometimes we have to go to some 5-7 teams.

Went 6-7 a few seasons back with 5-7 UNC. Been all downhill since then.

5-8 Purdue?
