If anyone here wants to do an adventure vacation, me and some buddies went to this place called Ian Anderson's Cave Branch. It was awesome. We went in September and were the only people there. All inclusive so we had unlimited beer and mixed well drinks. They only had the local Belize beer but it was pretty good. We got a great deal, 5 nights for $800 (upgraded to treehouses for free) and it includes an adventure everyday. Some adventures include a waterfall hike in caves up waterfalls, repelling 300 ft down a drop, cave tubing, exploring Mayan ruins, etc. Some of them were pretty rough. You are also really in the middle of the jungle as well. Here are some pictures of the place:

Sweet, we stopped in Belize on a cruise. We did the canopy zip line tour. It was a blast. The drive out was almost an hour and half.

(cant see the pics at work, but I ll be sure to check them out when i get home in the am)

It is awesome. Not surer the wife would be down for that as shes acting Spoiled rotten these days. But that would be a blast.

the flight was supposed to be $900, but only 30k miles which as you know tfan is totally worth it. (BTW guys, you can apply for airline credit cards and get 40k miles off the bat, making this a free flight).

Tfan, its a honeymooners dream. The rooms are amazing, you have nothing but the jungle around. Outside of that, you basically get relaxation jungle time with booze. The food is decent, buffet style but was good.

The worst part was the first night we were there... we were woken up at 2 am to the sound of like lions... howler monkeys were yelling right over our treehouse... scared the crap out of us. youtube howler monkey to hear what they sound like.

Yea would be something bad ass to do with the fellas, not a wife trip Im thinking.

that is what we did, 5 of us went, the belize/guatemala border is also something to see... guys with automatic guns and shotguns just cruising the border. (guess which side)

Very cool. That does look and sound like a good time.

you float down a river that has minor rapids in an inner tube. You have a head lamp and go throw this cave system,that winds throughout the jungle (the last picture was from us cave tubing)
