
After a busy offseason in Miami and an unheralded return of a GM that drove the team to the ground, it's a new day in Miami!
The Fish have a new cast of characters, some new uniforms, and a new owner with some cash.
Pitching Update
After trading away one of the better pitchers in the league in Bartlett, the fan bad had a concern of the pitching depth.
Cramer, Espinosa, and Walker have anchored the rotation but the lack of bullpen arms has damaged a great start by the team.
Miami's bullpen ERA is almost last in the league and their starters are walking people at an unprecedented rate. Sheltowns futile pitching staff in the division makes them feel a little better about themselves. Just a little
Lineup Update
The bats have actually come alive a little in the last couple weeks. Still in the middle of the pack league wise but getting hotter by the week.
Ruiz leads the team in hitting and has proven to be a good move by the GM to trade him for Bartlett. His counterpart n the trade, Guerrero is batting a measley .198 and hasn't lived up to the expectations thus far.
The GMs personal favorite player, lead off hitter Bill Hill, leads the team in runs and is doing his best Dustin Pedroia imitation on a daily basis
Big series coming up against Port Orange and New England. Could sink the squad to the bottom of the standings or give them hope that they can actually compete.
With the new owner and new GM the organization has employed the Mermaids to bring some inspiration to The Fish Tank in Miami!
