I got an offer for him that I'm truly ..

i just got offered 3 SPs and 2 1sts for him... so it probably wont get to 3 pages.

a 3rd "mysterious" team has just popped in and made a pretty incredible offer for Hays. But right now the 3SPs + 2 1sts are holding up... just barely.

Rumors are swirling about a possible argument in the locker room between GM Nick Wadden and stud 2 time Tom Seaver winner Steven Hays. "its tough right now, wind got out we're listening to offers and now hes acting like he's from Northern Cal or something". Nick was quoted as saying afterwards. The Toronto Daily Star is reporting that there are as many as 4 teams interested in Hays, but only 2 true offers are being considered by Toronto. "At the end of the day I gotta do what's best for the team. If trading the best thing to happen to Toronto has to be done, then it will be done".

Hays was unavailable for comments.

Hays is the next pitcher available in the rotation for Toronto so the thought is, he will be dealt tonight before his next game.

Reports are circling on that 1 final team is making a hard push for Hays. "Dont make a trade until I talk to you". Rumor has it picks, players AND money is being offered. GM Nick Wadden has stated that tonight will be the deadline. Steven Hays bags are packed so unless something happens he will be dealt tonight

peter gammons is reporting " norcal has made no contact with toronto since opening day in regards to the services of hays"

peter gammons is also reporting that the norcal brass will accept collect calls from canada if GM Nick is serious on trading Hays.

I'd give him a 20th round pick to shut the fuck up.
