Chicago - Washington Trade (4.16.12)

Post by brwnbear »

Trendon,

Please trade $22,000,000 of cash (force it through) to Washington. I also sent you an email reminder and will probably text you... :)

This will complete my trade for Castillo.

I was 71M in debt, selling Castillo got me 35M, trading a reliever to nick got me 3.5M, Shel took Yamaguchi's salary this year which was about 4M plus took Rin and Gaines contracts which was another 16.5M this year and a lot more in the future.

59M from those trades, and I will be getting 10M in luxury tax money which will let me break even to start next season and actually be able to play the game.

Pretty well done there. Escaped the debt after only 1 season

yup, if my owner hadn't dropped my budget 40M from last year it would have been a lot easier... now I have the 20th ranked budget. But I have money to play with (hopefully) next season and can sign some players.
