Four Team Playoff in the NDL

It will be here soon. Does it guarantee late season semi-final games between the "top dawgs" like Nole, BIGmike, and Shel who are 1-2-3 in the National Championship department?
In S24 Virginia Tech, Auburn, Michigan State and Wisconsin finished top four but of those four only Virginia Tech and Michigan State had conference championships. #5 Oregon lost to Arizona in the Pac 12 Championship and #6 Alabama did not make the SEC Championship so most likely the selection committee would have took the top four.
Virginia Tech would have played Wisconsin
Auburn would have played Michigan State
Does Virginia Tech still win the S24 National Title?
