I have the day off, and while waiting to DL my copy w Uuaww tonight Im considering playing my brothers copy to hold me over. My question is, am I able to play on my system while preserving everything for him as well? Im pretty sure I wouldnt be able to play online since in years past its one online code tied to each system, but just wanna make sure everything else is all good

Wait, the doctor took up the offer to download it for $15? :?

Just busting your balls

What do you mean by "preserve"? Are you asking if you start a Spartan dynasty and go 4-0 will he be able to access that dynasty on his PS3?

The answer to that would be yes, I believe so if you put the save on a USB flash drive, though I cannot guarantee that.

As for online, yes, it is one online code per PSN username.

Im not making shit yet

I meant that I remember reading how developers were going to limit the playability of used games in the future, not sure if this applies

The online code is their way of "limiting" used games.

As long as you don't use his online code, nothing changes for him.

It's just in the past someone goes to GameStop and see NCAA 13 new for $60 and used for $50 or $55 they'll buy the used one and EA never sees that money.

Now they'll be told they need to buy a $10 pass to play online, which puts the used one at the same or higher price which nearly everyone will just buy the new one and EA gets their money.

but isnt the Online pass tied to the user login not the system? So as long as he logs in with broham's user name and passsword for today it wont mees up his brother later. Just a question I guess...

He will make that back in one year if he's smart

Judging by his decisions in life, smart posts, and being an overall good guy. It won't be a problem

Eh, if he lives modestly, that can be paid off in a few years, I'd imagine.

Then he can blow it all on a Bentley and strippers and blow!!!

Random question but where do you enter the online passcode at this year? Normally in the past I have been prompted for it when trying to login to the online stuff like OD's and play now but not this year. I've been able to play ranked games and start a test OD without entering it in yet. Despite being able to play online when I go in to the settings it says the Online Pass is inactive?
