Hey guys i was really suprised to see an OOTP board up. I've been addicted to this game for years now. I'm currently in the process of starting my own league for OOTP13 that will be a real MLB retro league with the first season starting in 1998. I'd love for as many NDL guys as possible to join. So if you want more info please PM me and I'll get it over to you.

we have a league on 2012. 26 of us are in it

Yeah i was talking to shel about that. Its a great game right? I dont really play 12 at all since 13 came out. just figured i'd see if anybody might want to try the new game

Good to see you back, I am interested but not sure I. Can swing 12 and 13. I'm anxious for a switch to 13 with the improved features. For example I read there are more actual starters than the over abundance of relievers in the 12 version.

at some point we will move to 13, but we are enjoying 12 atm. You really should inquire about being one of the next expansion teams in our league. With 26 guys, immersion is very high.

Shel and I are splitting a license for 13.

I just worry about running 12 and 13 on my laptop before it implodes. 12 makes it slow enough.

aren't we a little late for 13? instead of always being behind, why not just wait til 14.

I dont think he has said an exact time. I could be wrong. I actually worry it could take longer.

I thought he said anywhere between 4-8 weeks so that leaves a lot of variance.

Yeah, this is what I worry about. I want to participate in OOTP 13 just worry my computer will crumble.

I have a crappy laptop maybe its time to just use reboot it and use that for ootp 13.

the major differences between 12 and 13 come in development. There's alot more randomness as far as top spects crashing and lower picks actually turning into something usable. The drafts are also much deeper when you start with a 2012 file set. Personally I like the game 100X more than 12. the interface is better really everything to me is better. As far as the drain on a CPU im not familiar enough with the technical stuff to know but for me it feels like my CPU runs quicker iwth 13 than it did with 12. not really. It has been out only 4-5 months i think. The thing to remember too is when 14 does come out most leagues wait 4-5 months for all the bugs to get worked out and a few patches to be released. The latest 13 patch that came out last week fixed over 30 bugs.

So do I have to have 12 and 13 running or can 13 somehow run the Trendon league from it?
