Ok State lost to Tennessee, who Florida beat.
Florida lost to FSU, who VT beat
Wisconsins only losses have been to VT and MSU

Well, that was easy. Virginia Tech vs Michigan State is the obvious choice here.

All having nice seasons, but it comes down to three teams that will battle for that #2 spot.

1. Michigan State
2. Florida
3. Oklahoma State.

I am really going to have to go back and look at their schedule (SOS, Scoring Margin, etc)

Then, I will look to see which guy will send me the most money to vote for them. (I have to say the doc has the deepest pockets )

Looking at that Florida and Michigan state are very similar. Oklahoma state pretty damn good too

My loss was in Week 1! I thought losing early was the only time you could lose and recover. I guess that only applies to non SEC teams :)

If I don't vote Tulsa #2, not saying I won't, I do find you case compelling.

There's your problem. If you'd lost in Week 1 you'd be alright. Unfortunately it was Week 2, against an unranked SEC team...you're screwed ;)

My vote goes to Florida for #2

MSU #3
OKST #4

sorry OKST but you don't play a conf champ game, and I have always given more stock to teams that play in conf champ games, because that is one more game they have to play and can slip up in, and it is usually always against a quality team. So when all things equal going in to COnf Champ week, they get nod when they win.

As for the comparison between Florida and MSU, both have qualities win and have won games impressively. I feel Florida has dominated their oppts a little more, but I tend to avoid margin of victory cause some guys let up earlier then others. And both teams have losses against very tough schools and coaches, an FSU team that has only 3 losses 2 to same coach and ND who also only has 3 losses has looked impressive at times. But Fla loss was a little closer then MSU. But the deciding factor came down to common oppts of the two teams.

Both teams played FAU and Wake Forest

Florida played FAU and won 31-0 and beat Wake Forest 31-14

whereas

MSU played FAU and won 42-17 and loss to Wake Forest 16- 20

and with all things being pretty even the common oppts and Florida fairing better against their common opts got Florida the nod over MSU

So for me

#1 VT
#2 FLA
#3 MSU
#4 OKST

I am leaning towards Florida also. I think Ok state and Mich state have a chance, but I think its really between Florida and Mich State because they played in the conf championship games, but I think Florida and VT would be a hot game to watch!

everyone of course is free to vote how they want but imo ya gotta be careful with this. I'll never punish a guy who wins a game by more than a td 7+ and turns off the jets vs someone who's blowing people out and dancing around 35 as much as possible.

matter of fact, all things being equal, i'll give a nod to the guy who i see beat one or several way lower rated or lower record in standings by just 2-3 tds vs the guy who who's winning by 28+ every game

just my opinion tho

if i didn't choke against Oklahoma State this would be a lot easier...

I think Florida is the choice, just too impressive to beat Shel twice in a season

I literally had no shot against him either time. Not even close to his level.

I actually agree with this. I dont know about all the shel's washed up stuff, I dont buy it. As you were user picking my passes in our game. Dawgit had your number this season, it may be a different story next.

As for the vote, decisions decisions.

This is a very tough decision, and the only way for me to decide is how they played me. I was able to stay in the game against MSU till halftime, where I was done in the first quarter against Florida. I thought defensively Florida was WAY better than MSU (no offense to MSU, your defense was solid too), I couldn't get the ball past the 50. So my vote goes to Florida strictly off of my personal experience and my opinion of which is the better team.
