Anyone had issues with formations missing in their custom books during a game? On defense sometimes my special teams doesn't show up. But yesterday on offense I was missing about 7 formations and special teams, I could go to "ask coach" when I needed to punt, and I could get some plays from the missing formations, but is was a crap shoot as to what showed up. I thought they fixed the playbook issues. Anyone know a fix for this?

Weird, never saw that before.

I have noticed that when I go to "Ask Coach" I'll always see a couple of plays that are nowhere to be found in my playbook. nothing to do with your post, but just sayin...

No Emory and Henry.

It was about 4 whole sections, I got scroll to it but it was blank.

Odd. I had issues last season, but I haven't had any this season. I did use a lot of the same logic that I recommended last season though, like multiples of 3 per formation.

it does happen randomly but make sure your playbook is set up so that the number of plays can be evenly divided by 3 for each formation. ie. shotgun normal 4/6 runs 24/35 pass so because you can fill up a formation with all plays available you still want to make sure the actual number is divisible by 3 ( think square, X, and triangle ) but that can sometimes help or sometimes be the cause of it.

I've noticed it happens sometimes when I'm the away team. Especially in any head to head match in an online dynasty.

Any CPB issues that I've come accross have been fixed by this method. Just make sure your play totals, for each formation, is divisible by 3. (3, because that's the number of plays that shows on the play-call screen)


I made sure to follow this rule when I made my CPB this year, and haven't had any issues at all. (Then again, I don't live and die by the Emory Henry either!)

It only happens to me when I make changes to my playbook, and then go right into a game with that playbook. If i make changes, I save it, exit the game and then restart the game, and never have issues with CPB. If you recently made changes, this might be it. If you didnt, then just ignore all this shit I typed.

Man I was typing that and talking to block on aim and talking to the fiance and I was thinking 24that total when I was doing it lol my bad

i get it from time to time if both re using custom PBs. nothing you can do but restart or do what you are saying and do the ask coach thing. mainly its pistol formations, goaline, and special teams in my case.
