Are we aloud to use custom playbooks?
Are we allowed to use the bump and run, show blitz coverage things?

I've read over the rules and can't really seem to find the answer.
The wording is weird on the playbooks...

Moderation is the key word in this league. If there is one thing I've learned from my 1 and a half seasons in the NDL, it's that you need to mix things up. In all aspects of your game. Use Man/Zone, Run/Pass, Blitz/Base, Show Blitz/Back Off... ALL IN MODERATION.

The sooner you learn this, the better.

Also, don't be afraid to ask your conference commish if you have any questions as well. They/we are here to help you out also.

Definitely moderation, I just played my first game and had a blast, I lost by 6 but with some practice this FAU time might not turn out to be too bad. Thanks guys, and look forward to playing more games in this league...

All these things guys have said are correct unless you are the Mac n Cheese, then you are allowed to cheese at will!

But in all seriousness just try to have some variety to your game and youll be fine!

You will learn to NOT listen to UCLAMacNCheese as he is the cheesiest!

As they all said, moderation is the key.

Play football and don't take advantage of any AI flaws and you will be fine.
And as Wasted informed you, your conference commissioner should always be your first contact for questions, concerns, comments, etc. then go from there.

Another two questions for you guys...

An important one: Can you use the "wildcat" package for regular formations? The shotgun heavy has this option.

And a fun one: Are we aloud to set the weather to the live weather for our home games. (There is a way of doing this for those of you that don't know)

fun one has been done for 2 seasons now. NDL > Fun

To set live weather go to an exhibition game with FAU. Once you get to the weather option start backing out from there and go play an online game. Weather will be enabled then.

I'm pretty sure he knows how, he was asking if it was okay to use it...

I do that for all the home games in Pullman. Getting to the time of the year where that might change the game. Played one game with 13 mile an hour wind.

That question reminds me of a dude that was in another NCAA league, and he made a Youtube on how to do it, but he backed out of the game like 7 times and he thought that's how you have to do it. LOL...
