So this kid is getting yellow. We have been wrapping her up in the "bili-blanket" with the blue lights to try to help process the bilirubin out of her body. She eats every 2-3 hours and has now been more consistent with poops and peeing.

I just wondered if anyones kids ever had this problem? My daughter was 4 weeks early and was induced labor. They say the risks are higher in these types of deliveries/babies.

What did you do to correct the jaundice? How long did he or she have it before it went away? Am i over reacting?

Both my kids had jaundice to an extent. The first one was in a special room for a week. We had to scrub down to enter. It was tough to see them like that but all turned out wonderful.
