I will try it, but I cannot imagine coming off Battlefield after having so much fun with three.

May be the worst 1 yet. I am thinking of only playing B4 this time around.
Blops 2 has been good and is 1 of the better COD games, But this 1 may not be worth messing with.
@Trendon - Prolly be disappointed if you play this, I would suggest staying on B4.

I was on the fence but the two sided poster might have put me over. If it had been one.... or even 1.5 I'd probably be pre-ordering Battlefield. But a full two? I'm sold.
Could only talk a little bit about multiplayer.
Every map is interactive.
One map has a satellite that crashes in middle of map, might get a UAV if you access it.
Freedom to outfit character to reflect your personality.
Lots of characters skins brought over from singleplayer.

Need to Socom it up and bring back the ability to dance on dead people.
What's so funny? It's true. If you expect that on current gen you are going to be really disappointed.
It looks just like every other single player. this is exactly how it will look on the PS4 too

What exactly is the theme of the game? Where is it? Ghosts make me think it is Tom Clancy-ish, which would be cool.

They said at the Xbox conference that America has been crippled after an attack and the ghosts are the elite fighting force that remain. Pretty standard stuff.

Upcoming FPS game from Infinity Ward, Call of Duty: Ghosts has reportedly tweaked its lag compensation that was affecting its predecessor, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
Black Ops 2's multiplayer has been one of the problem prone areas for Infinity Ward said GamingBolt. But players are hoping that will change with its new title, Ghosts.
Drift0r, a YouTube user, revealed that Infinity Ward will be making improvements to its lag compensation for its new game. He spoke to Mark Rubin, executive producer at Infinity ward who said, that the coding for lag compensation will be similar to previous Call of Duty, however the company is working on it to make it better by tweaking it. He also said that there will not be any changes to the core mechanics, but there will be changes in the match making properties will be different.

In the previous instalment, multiplayer players were matched with their others who were geographically closer, but it had its own flaws. IP or ISP's addresses do not always give the correct location, and hence do not always connect people who are at the closest physical place.
Lag compensation cannot be removed from the game as it becomes unplayable without it, said Drift0r.
Rubin said to tackle this issue the company will be using a new mapping technique for Ghosts where players are synced to the best host having good connection.
"For single player it's that cinematic, movie-like experience that's immersive and pinned on storytelling. It has those big moments, those summer blockbuster type trailers: the Call of Duty feel. Multiplayer has that fast, frantic addictive gameplay and that's something we wouldn't want to give up. It's what we do well. I want other studios to be doing something else, something new and fresh and cool that nobody's seen before, so I can play that while continuing to enjoy Call of Duty," said Rubin in an interview with The Guardian.
The game was also demoed in the US chat show - Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on 21 June 2013.
The game is the tenth instalment in Call of Duty series and it may also come to Wii U.
The game is scheduled to release on 5 November 2013 on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Dynamic Map "Free Fall" Delivers New Multiplayer Experience As Players Encounter Constantly Changing Environment
SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The franchise that has defined a generation of gaming, and the one set to raise the bar yet again this November 5th, is delivering a compelling, all-new pre-order incentive for Call of Duty: Ghosts highly anticipated multiplayer mode. Fans around the world that pre-order the game at participating retailers will receive the Free Fall downloadable bonus map that features the new dynamic map event mechanic, included with their copy of the game at launch. Free Fall ushers in the first details on how players will encounter the changing environments in the leading multiplayer experience on consoles.
As an example of just one of Call of Duty: Ghosts' new dynamic map events, Free Fall drops players into a shattered skyscraper on the brink of collapse. Sideways staircases climb into the night sky, elevator shafts run along the ground, and what were once windows now form a terrifying glass floor, hundreds of feet above the city streets. Free Fall's close-quarters combat and frenetic action are then thrown into overdrive as the ruined skyscraper continues to fall throughout the match. With every drop, the accompanying shockwaves cause further destruction, disrupting sightlines and constantly evolving paths and chokepoints as the map changes in real-time.
"Dynamic map events change the way players approach the game, and Free Fall does a great job illustrating this new mechanic," said Mark Rubin, executive producer at Infinity Ward. "As the match progresses, the geometry of the world continues to change and players need to adjust on the fly or else. It's a really fun new feature that adds layers of strategy and constantly evolving gameplay options for players. And this is just one of the many new approaches we're putting into Ghosts' multiplayer across the board. There's so much more that we look forward to sharing in the weeks to come."
Call of Duty: Ghosts, published by Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard (Nasdaq: ATVI), and developed by Infinity Ward, the studio that created the original Call of Duty and the seminal Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® series, features an all-new world, story, characters and experiences, all powered by a new, next-gen engine. Call of Duty: Ghosts is not only a stunning leap forward for the mega-hit franchise, but also showcases what's possible on next generation consoles.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will release on Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PC on November 5. Call of Duty: Ghosts will also release on the Xbox One, the all-in one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and PlayStation® 4 later this year. Call of Duty: Ghosts has not yet been rated by the ESRB. For more information, please visit www.callofduty.com/ghosts, www.facebook.com/CODGhosts, or follow on Twitter @InfinityWard.

Ghosts sounds good enough that I will at least try it, but I have tried every Call of Duty so far.
And I fixed the youtube videos so they are now embedded.
