Sometime in the morning, Nole gets word that NCAA has released early at a local store in Tallahassee which is a mere 3.5-4 hour trip from Orlando.

Nole texts Corey, who then makes up a story about a friend in need to his boss so he can leave work early for the day.

I work nights so I'm sound asleep. Corey works literally across the street from my house. I am awakened to the sound of someone knocking on my bedroom window. That someone is none other than Corey in his work suit, in the rain, knocking on my window waking me up on maybe 2 hours sleep to let me know we're going to Tallahassee to pick up the game...which we do.

5 years, 2 wives, and 3 kids later....

Corey isn't even in the league, won't be buying the game.

Nole, on release day, thinks the game is coming out next week.

I know the game has been out for 2 days, actually paid for it about a week ago, and simply haven't bothered to download it.

The story and the pic...well played!

The 4 hour drive commences discussing features, cheesy ndl players, keeping our current teams or drafting, and other fun NDL facts. AJ declines said trip and is ahead of the curve of non-early NCAA functions.

I think we have driven to Tallahassee, Gainesville, and other areas of Florida for this game at the drop of a dime.

It started with meeting Nole in the parking lot of a Target about 6,7 years ago with his early copy while he drinks a smoothie in a pink shirt.

Where did we go wrong NCAA?!??!?!?

I DL'd the game and still haven't even played it

I was never as hardcore as you guys. At my worst I briefly, as in for about 10 minutes, considered going to a midnight release. Now it's Thursday of release week and I haven't even downloaded the game. And I'm not in any hurry either.

I'm not going to say I've posted zero for sure, but I can't recall a time in the past 2 years that I've posted a pic of myself, which means if I have, it's been extremely rare, once or twice.

But I certainly haven't posted plenty of pics of myself over the past 2 years.

Someone posted a picture of you in a thread about 6 months, a year ago and you looked your normal tore up twin dad self which prompted many to say "this is yourself on twins. any questions?"

I think it was packsy.

That's true. I think it was Shift bringing my FB world to the boards LOL.

Though it wasn't me posting pics and it was only one pic. And I think they were pretty young and it was in the not much sleep days.
