GTA V

Anyone planning on picking this one up? I can't remember how long it's been since I actually looked forward to the release of a non-sports game. I do remember GTA IV as being one of the last games I played online with any regularity.
Just putting people on notice here... game releases mid-Sept. Online goes live 2 weeks later. In between now and then I'll need to get a working headset and then I plan on doing group skydive motorcycle shootout races or whatever this going is going to include.

It's interesting that they stagger the release date and the online date. That seems strange.
Now RockStar needs to get cracking on Red Dead 2.

Trendo - I was definitely on there for the month or two that it was popular in WFC. I distinctly remember us doing a lot more racing than shootouts by the Statue of Liberty (as an example). That said, can't we all agree that it's a positive sign that I created the thread and am gauging interest? In just a few short weeks you'll get to hear my soothing voice that many have compared to that of an angel.
Current gen only, online releasing after apparently to give them a little more time to work out the kinks. I picked up Red Dead earlier this year and really enjoyed it. Never tried it online though.

No thanks. 60 bucks for a game ill play a month before PS4 drops. If only ps4 was back compatible.

Very possible, Gamescom starts this week. We should see more PS4 games too. I will kill somebody if Fallout IV doesn't show.

NHL 94 is an awesome game but I am not hooking up my sega anytime soon.

What is the online content all about? Is it just lots of people doing single player missions on the same map at the same time?

Count me in, especially if Uaww and pull off the game share for this title.. But if he can't, I'm still buying. I'm not getting a PS4 just yet, but I am totally blown away that they aren't backwards compatible. That just seems like a no brainer.. Hmmm
