We are hosting contests where the winner actually walks away with a prize. The money used to enter the contests is not real - we are defaulting everyone $100 whenever they register.

When you run out of money to enter contests, you can just email support@playmlf.com to ask for more money to play with.

You don't have to pay any "real" money to register and enter these contests.

All you need to do is jump in, assemble the best team, then compete against the rest of the people in the contest with you.

Out goals during BETA are to get activity on the site so we can stress test our site while getting real feedback from people. The prizes are just a means of giving people incentives to play!

Beyond special contests, we will also be rewarding those who are the most active and such. More communications will be sent out regarding prizes later.

Guessing this isn't the amount of salary cap we'd have for real cash events?

Feedback we've received thus far regarding our salary caps is telling us we need to work on our algorithm quite a bit more

VT is doing a great job here. If you've ever been semi-curious about Daily Fantasy Sports and want to see it with a rather cool social interaction twist, this is an excellent contest. There are still a lot of things to iron out, so giving him appropriate feedback as new users would go a long way for them.

The crew that VT is working with is really stand up. I can speak first hand as I helped them out with some alpha testing and I've got a small HD TV to show for it. (Thanks VT!)
