Multiple explosions and shootings set to coincide with the France-Germany match, which had many of the police tied up at the stadium. They have hostages at a theatre/arts center, where mult explosions have been heard inside. Over 60 are being held hostage, I seriously doubt any of them make it out alive.

This was a coordinated attack, and it's a bad one.

That said, I don't think it's ISIS, Nick. This isn't their MO. They don't do drive-by shootings, they do bombings. They don't take hostages, either.

It is Beirut. While it is a tragedy, shit like that happens all the time there. Paris is a different story.

Like he said, it happens all the time in Beirut, and it's not an international incident. It's localized, it happens often. Thus, it's not something that requires a new thread every time.

When it's an orchestrated terrorist attack on foreign soil, killing hundreds of innocent people in a city where such violence is uncommon, it's going to garner major news.

They stated that they goofed most of their explosive set ups or things could have been tremendously worse. By the sound of these 2 explosions, I believe that statement.
