either way, if your are truly parenting, kids are a ton of work. They get 'easier' as they get older, sure. However you worry about different things is all really.

We have twin 5 year olds and one 9 year old and having 3 kids we have just come to learn that their is always a wild card in play, meaning we could have 2 of the 3 content and satisfied but the 3rd one for whatever the reason will get the other 2 in a frenzy over something or the 3rd one will need one of us for something. Outside of them sleeping, it is pretty rare that all 3 are content for more than 30 minutes
