Less than 24 hours guys and the one and only Tiger is back!!!!! I feel really good about this one. Took 15 months off and did it the right way. He will get some tournaments in and I think come March/April he will be able to contend for the WGC at Doral and more importantly The Masters.

Boy do I hope you're right. Certainly good for business for both me and my wife, but I'm overly skeptical.
You're right, he took the time, he did the work, but it's going to be hard.
There is NO way he'll be dominant. At best, I figure he can be a top 20 player, win 1 or 2 here and there, and compete in roughly half his tournies. People have to temper expectations, and the media isn't one to ever do that. He's going to miss cuts, he's going to have bad rounds, it will just be a matter of how he/they respond to that.
If he was any other player, he could just ease back in and be a Jim Furyk type the rest of his career. But he's not, he's Tiger, and that's what people will expect. 28 year old fist pumping Tiger. He's gone.

I agree completely. The Tiger we saw for a decade dominate like no other is gone but I truly believe he can be a top 20, maybe top 10 golfer. A guy you can lump with the other top 10 or so who can win a major, no more Tiger vs the field stuff. I am excited to see if this is the real deal, he is my favorite athlete of all time and I want nothing more than to see him go out on his own terms and playing respectably.
I don't expect him to win thus week but playing competitive golf and getting his confidence back is huge and by the Florida swing next year I think we will see a top 20 golfer.

If he comes back and crushes it at the Masters, Im gonna be soooooooo bummed.
(Won masters tickets via lottery. Found out a few weeks later my wife is due with our first child that week)

Tiger looking great. Missed one green, no fairways and just missed an ace on 8 by 2 feet. About to tap in for -8 thru 8...... it's really happening you guys

Update.... one terrible drive and one terrible chip caused him to bogey back to back par 5s. Now 2 under thru 10. Just hit one stiff on a par 3 and has about 8 feet for birdie. Irons and wedges have been awesome, all in all a good start to his comeback so far

Haha, after the Cubs stuff and now this I am close to switching to Team Nick....
He did just have a pretty ugly double after a beautiful tee shot
