Please Note *** When you install OOTP games, you should always choose the default locations. So double click the .exe file, choose Yes, Next, Next, Next and Install or whatever those options are. You should not change any of the defaults. ***


Getting your NDL League setup in OOTP21

1. The easiest way to get your NDL league setup in OOTP21 is, once the game is installed, open OOTP21, choose Import OOTP20 game under more options..
2. It should find and open the OOTP20 folder and it should have found the world.dat file in your OOTP20 game.
3. If so, import that file. Let OOTP21 find images and such and it will pull everything from your OOTP20 saved game.
4. That's it.
5. Open the game, choose Load game, Choose your NDL league and verify that you can export.
6. If you are able to export, go ahead and download the new file as you would after any other sim.


Fresh Install


For the instructions to work properly, you should download the free compressing software called 7 Zip from https://www.7-zip.org/.
Then install the 7 Zip program.


If you need to perform a fresh Install of our NDL saved League:
Before you start, in your user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP21/Saved_Games folder, if you have a current NDL.lg folder, delete it.


1. Navigate to our statsplus website - https://statsplus.net/ndl/
2. Navigate to the Export Tracker.
3. Choose the League Starter File option at the top of this screen. If you do not see the link for this file, you are not logged into Stats Plus. You can also type in !starter file in Slack to get a link straight to the file.
4. This will download a starter file that contains images too. It is an NDL.lg folder zipped up. This will be placed in your computers download folder.
5. Once complete, copy and paste this folder into your documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball21\saved_games folder.
6. Right click on this folder, if you are using 7zip, there will be a 7zip option in the menu that popped up when you right clicked, now choose Extract Here.
This will unzip the folder and will create an NDL.lg folder within your saved games folder.
7. Now right click in an open space and create a new folder.
8. Name this new folder, settings
9. Now obtain the latest accountsdata_gms file from someone or copy the one from your OOTP20 game into the settings folder.
10. Start up OOTP, choose "Load Game", choose the NDL game and click OK.
11. Once the game opens, try to export.
12. If your export was successful, you should be good to go at this point.
13. You will now want to download the newest file.


If you need to get images


JERSEYS:
1. If you have one, delete your current jerseys folder: located at user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP 21/Saved_Games folder/NDL.lg/jerseys
2. Navigate out to the statsplus website - https://statsplus.net/ndl/
3. Click the Links menu at the top.
4. Choose the Jerseys option.
5. This will download a jerseys.7z zipped folder into your downloads folder.
6. Copy and Paste or move the file to your user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP21/Saved_Games folder/NDL.lg/ folder
7. Right click on the jerseys.7z folder and you will see a 7-zip option, then choose the Extract Here option. It will take the jerseys.7z folder and unzip it and you will now see a jerseys folder.
8. You can now Right Click on the jerseys.7z and delete that file.


BALL CAPS:
1. If you have one, delete your current ballcaps folder: located at user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP21/Saved_Games folder/NDL.lg/ballcaps
2. Navigate out to the statsplus website - https://statsplus.net/ndl/
3. Click the Links menu at the top.
4. Choose the Ball Caps option.
5. This will download a ballcaps.7z zipped folder.
6. Copy and Paste or move the file to your user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP21/Saved_Games folder/NDL.lg/ folder.
7. Right click on the ballcaps.7z folder and you will see a 7-zip option, then choose the Extract Here option. It will take the ballcaps.7z folder and unzip it and you will now see a ballcaps folder.
8. You can now Right Click on the ballcaps.7z and delete that file.

TEAM LOGOS: (Updated 5/7)
1. Delete your current team logos folder, located at user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP21/Saved_Games folder/NDL.lg/news/html/images/team_logos.
2. Navigate out to the statsplus website - https://statsplus.net/ndl/
3. Click the Links menu at the top.
4. Choose the Team Logos option.
5. This will download a team logos.7z zipped folder.
6. Copy and Paste or move the file to your user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP 19/Saved_Games folder/NDL.lg/news/html/images/ folder.
7. Right click on the teamlogos.7z folder and you will see a 7-zip option, then choose the Extract Here option. It will take the teamlogos.7z folder and unzip it and you will now see a team logos folder.
8. You can now Right Click on the teamlogos.7z and delete that file.

Thanks for this JD, for those of you interested in logos they are up to date with all that has been sent to me. Now go and get it

Can someone please post when they have done this and it is successful. Checking Cookeville or Ann Arbor to see if new logos are there is the easiest way to see

My logo is there when I downloaded the new sim. Haven't tried uniform folders update though.

The logo size looks like it needs to be adjusted though. In the game recap screens it's to big.

So a question on this. Has anyone actually downloaded the jersey.app or ballcap.app file and been able to load it successfully? It's showing as an empty folder when I do it.

The logos and such showed up for me when I downloaded the new sim file, but the actually image folders don't seem to work. Of course, I could be doing something completely wrong.

I will be around later tonight if you want to try.

OK, had a chance to dig into this and I need to work with Billy to fix the files that he uploaded. It is the MAC program we used to zip them up messing things up.
I will work with him later today.

My Verizon Mifi is not great in my office due to the low signal, otherwise, I would have you tap into my laptop and help me. I start at 6:00am each day, and get home around 5:10pm Pacific Time Zone, and I am off Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Let me know a day and time. Thanks Brother!

Just text me and we can set up a time. I am around, after 9 pm each night during the week, weekends are kind of crazy right now with coaching my son's tee-ball team and games starting in a couple weeks every Saturday.

I'm getting a "Error could not open archive file" message when I am trying to download the latest league file - in '19.
Anyone else having that problem?

I don't think we are 19 ready yet. Still download new file in 18. You can import over to 19 after that

New file will be coming out within 30 minutes. Hang tight and download that one and I will post instructions with it

Who is still having trouble?

Edit: I'm good, got it fixed!

I'm still getting literally every team in the league to load correctly except mine, which defaults back to the stock jerseys and hats for my team. I'm trying a fresh install of the league file now to see if that does anything.
