Welcome to the 2080 season thread. Once again congrats to the Moose Jaw Diamond Dogs on their 2nd title.
Reminder that this offseason we begin new rules where you can not offer extensions until players have 3 years ML service time and must be in their final year of Arbitration. If you have anyone in the old rules of 2 years ML service time and final year of Arb you have 2 sims to offer an extensions. Once free agents file new rules are in effect. If anyone notices any illegal deals feel free to let me know please as I do not see them all
I will sim normal time tomorrow since Arb is broken down to two sims

Today is the last day of arbitration and we have 12 teams with an export.
Today is the last to extend players under the rule of 2 year ML service time and in final year of minimum salary. Beginning tomorrow they must have 3 years of ML service and be in their first year of arbitration
HOF voting begins today. Don't be a shit head and please take the time to vote
Washington has moved his team to Ann Arbor
Rose City has moved to Burnaby
Sojuro Sakamoto signs a 4 year extension worth 108 million with Rhode Island... my offseason is ruined
Fernando Ferreira signs a 5 year extension worth 126 million
Pat Brown signs a 3 year extension worth 52 million
Jack Patterson unanimously wins AL Reliever of the Year going 12-6 with 37 saves and a 1.34 era
Carl Hunt NL reliever of the year going 3-2 with 38 saves and a 1.35 era
Hector Sanchez AL Rookie of the Year hitting .330 but not one stinking home run. What a weak weak man
Raymond Blackburn NL Rookie of the year hitting .267 with 48 HRs
Alberto Villanueva AL Cy Young going 15-8 with a 2.34 era
Michael Chamberlain with another unanimous NL Cy Young going 16-10 with a 2.71 era
Danny Russell unanimous AL MVP hitting .262 with 52 HRs and 7.5 war
Zak McDaniel NL MVP hitting .295 with 46 HRs and 9 war

Thought Cuevas said he was retiring. Didn't see him in the HOF voting, not that I'd vote for him. He needs to be snubbed his first year as it would be fitting for all the snubs he had during his career

Lol I wasn't even lying there. I've noticed guys who expect middle of the lineup will just shit the bed to spite you if you bat them even 1 fucking spot out of 2-4 in the lineup.
