Welcome to the 2085 season thread. I am going to sim tomorrow since Arb is split up in to two sims anyways. As always if you have any proposed rule changes create a winter meetings poll. Please check with me or Neurotic and make sure what you are proposing is actually possible to do in game.

A few notable things:

Dusty has stepped down and Coug is back and taking over Shelby
Whitness and Qaz returned mid season in case you missed it. Whit is taking over San Diego and Qaz taking Houston

Hey guys. Some of you know me from before as Seattle, Vancouver, Chicago, Windy City, Rose City owner. If you don't know me, I'm easy going, love baseball and work as an Athletic Director. Glad to be here.

Also, if there is anyone with a key to OOTP22 I will gladly split with a venmo payment. If not I'll get it going this weekend.

I thought I noticed this last off season but wasn't 100% sure but now I see it happening again this off season. Somehow a 1B and a 3B coach were offered positions with my team but I didn't offer. Is this set to be an automatic thing? I have my settings at only me being able to hire/fire staff.

Same with me. Some managers (maybe all) have hiring authority in their attributes and there is no work around or way to turn that off that I have seen.

No, I want to give it another full season and see where it shakes out. League average was .271 and I was aiming for something around .260-265 as that is where we were as a league until OOTP21. League era ended at 4.64 and I'd like it to ideally be around 4.3 or so. We will go one more as is and adjust from there if needed.

No, hes gotta leave them bumped up so he can have the best opportunity to win again next year and take advantage of his window.
