NDL Forum

After four years or so of running the NDL I think it is time for someone else to take the reins and run with it. I can't think of anyone better than Ryan (TheGobOne) to take over and keep this wonderful thing going. I want to say thanks to most of you for being supportive during that time and trusting me to keep the leagues best interest in mind. A few of you are massive dickheads but we need those in the league too. I do look forward to just being a regular owner and feeling the excitement of downloading a file like everyone else. As for Ryan, he has commish experience and is excited to do it and he has been with us for a really long time. I think he is the perfect guy to take over and will do a great job.

The plan is I will continue to sim and show Ryan some things that happen at key dates just to refresh his memory and allow him to kind of make his own checklist. I anticipate him fully running sims after the draft import if he is comfortable because it is pretty much simple after that. Then I will help him with the rollover and the process is complete. After that I am happy to help Ryan when needed.

Just to ease anyone's concerns Ryan will not make any changes to the forums. I am planning on adding a few slack channels so guys can see live injuries and box scores for you conspiracy theory folks out there. We will always be a forums league first.

Before guys start throwing out reasons or accusations this is not anyone's fault. It is just time. Good luck Ryan. You better hope you never win more than 70 games or ever have a good draft pick ever again!!!!!!

Thanks and to be completely transparent Billy and I have been chatting about succession for probably over a year IRL. Happy to take the reins as I unironically like managing shit. I actually once ran a league where I didn't even have a team because I like just doing commish stuff.....sadistic I know lol.

Billy did a great job, no doubt. I'll be looking to keep the league flowing and helping owners feel engaged.

Thanks Billy for keeping this going. Ryan is a good choice to succeed, if he does 80% as well as you did the league will still be in good hands
