Legit thread title!

And I don't think you burn a year, I believe you need a certain amount of "in season" time on the 40 man roster for it to be an official year. Not 100% sure tho.

It's because teams are paying players more. The inflation setting is 0. Tons of teams with money finally starting to spend it.
