Arbitration sim length and fix

Apparently I didn't communicate thoroughly enough that there will only be 1 sim before Arb completes. We discussed it last year but I can't find where I posted so I'm assuming it was on Slack and is gone. Anyway, going forward Arb will be completed in the first sim like it was this year as our offseason is quite long (it's the longest one I'm in by far).

If someone has a good argument why we need that extra first sim please let me know but I can't find a good enough reason to split it into 2 like that.

THE FIX

For this year only if you had a player who went through arb and you wanted to non-tender him (release) let me know and I will remove him (and his contract) from your team. Yes I will be checking so don't try and tell me your giant albatross contracts you can't get rid of. Message me in a Slack DM please.

I won't be lowering anyone's salary or anything like that. Just straight removing if you intended to not give him arb.

Is there a fix for the qualifying offer?
I was going to give Jason Jones a Q-O.

Sadly it looks like there's no fix to the Qualifying Offers.

Arent there opportunities to avoid Arb by negotiating a contract? I thought that was why there was more than one sim at this point in off-season

Yes, but were the first 20 sims of the season not enough time to get an extension done?

But what is the point in running the sim thru Arb but not up to free agency? There is still nothing to really do here. I'd either keep it the way it was or sim it up to FA file.

So you're complaining about an extra sim, yet I downloaded yesterday's file and did nothing but delete all the arbitration emails and exported. If you're wanting to cut out a sim, cut out the useless one like yesterdays and go straight to FA like Billy said. I personally don't ever recall us talking about taking the sim before Arbitration from one sim to two.

My understanding is some guys want a chance to decline arb and then sign them manually. But honestly I'd rather do that too lol.

Added Comp tag to Jason Jones and Bilel Goncalves that was missed.
