New NDL Record?

I know this ain't a big deal, I was just wondering. From the research I did on League Daddy on the past seasons, I believe it is.
Longest Kick Return- Donald Buckram (UTEP)-Season 15 vs Boise St.- 109 yards.
(Thanks to a twenty mile an hour wind)
Based on what I looked at, there were (4) 106 yd returns, one in Season 4 and 13, and two in Season 14.
Now, in Season 9, there was an 192 yd return, but I'm assuming it was meant to say 102.
Just wondering, I'm sure Trendon would know???????

My question is, and I don't mean any disrespect, but why would there be a 109 yard kick return?
So we play for realism in this game. If someone fielded the ball that far back in the endzone, I would assume you would either wave your hand for a fair catch, make the catch and knee it to take a touchback, or just let it hit inside the endzone and it still gets called back for a touchback.
I realize that probably on 90% of the kick returns in this game you can make it past the 20 yard line, but I just don't see it as being realistic.
Just my opinion, though.

In my game with Louis earlier this week, he returned a missed FG about as long as you can. Heres a pic of where he returned it from:

I do agree with you there, that it is not the decision that would be made 90% of the time, but like I mentioned, it was a twenty mile wind and the kicking team wasn't even at the 50 yet. So I decided to take it out. No disrepect taken, just a judgement call I suppose. My return guy had 95 speed, and I figured I could get past the twenty. I believe there is realism in that scenerio.

i'm normally one to kneel cause my kick returners blow, but if i had a gamechanging kick returner i wouldnt see anything wrong with it
Doc did that to me the other night, he returned a kick from like 5 yards in his endzone, but his KR had like 97 speed, he returned it to the house in a gamechanging play... i saw absolutely nothing wrong with it.

I guess I didn't take the wind into effect and at that point I understand that. I guess I was just thinking about a regular return with 0-2 MPH winds.
And I was not talking about returning FGs, making a 109 yard return on a missed FG I can understand, if you are able to do it.

Realistically..no one would bring it out from 9 yards deep...no matter what the situation is....but on the same page as realism...there was only 5 backs with over 1000 yards last year...and more then 3/4 of the league had more Ints. then TD passes...so if we are talking about realism more then 90 QBs would have been on the pine after about 8 games into the season.
But to me I won't bring it out if its any deeper then 5 yards...Thats the norm in college I think.

as unrealistic as you say it is, i could see DeSean Foster or Devin Hester taking it out from that deep in the endzone

Craziest shit ie seen in a while. If it was anyother time other than the end of the 1st half and not to mention a 63 yard attempt, i prolly would of let it ride. However i actually thoght it might be a punt so i called Punt return safe.
Its the only video on this page..i couldnt get it to display on the forums.

We had this guy here in Lubbock who played for Tech, Ivory McCann- He would consistently return kicks well past 5 yards deep in the endzone (5 yards being my personal line of "return it/kneel it"-
My philosophy is if you want to return it and you are 9 yards deep- go right ahead. There is no "real/not real" debate to be made.
Believe me, it is far easier to tackle someone than it is to complain that someone is not being realistic in this instance.

Unless you are Notre Dame and you forget how to tackle.

I though the endzone was only 8 yards deep? Meaning 108 is as long as one could possibly be.

these are EA calculations. Even had a 115 yard drive in NCAA09? I have.
